Compund tech trees

I think if we combine smaller nations into compound tech trees, we could get very well fleshed out trees.

I highly agree, and i waiting to see the scandanavian TT.

Why does Northern European tech tree include Netherlands and Belgium?

Also Estonia in "Northern European tech tree but rest of the Baltics in Eastern European? the hell?

Thats just Sweden

Because trees like france and germany have enough vehicles on their own. Its not about history, its about compability of vehicles.
Estonia could go in either EE tree or northern tree, i dont care.

But entire nordics + benelux + netherlands would definetively NOT have too many vehicles and there wouldnt be any overlap in capability due to all of them using Leo2s, F-16s and CV90s, right? /s

No they would have just the right amount. They have enough of unique vehicles to create an interesting tree instead of copy pasta.

How much research have you done?

yes, youre the one saying they would be half empty.

only β€œreal” copypaste would be WW2 period as both Poland and Czechoslovakia essentially operated whatever Soviets or Brits gave them.

They have enough vehicles combined. Look at Sweden. Half of the stuff they have is copy pasta, adding all the prototypes and small production stuff from these minor nations would give them something unique.
Poland and Czechoslovakia have a bunch of unique early war, cold war and modern designs. Add Romanian and Hungarian stuff and you have decent early ww2 tree.

If Poland was added on its own excluding copy pasta, it would be quite anemic. And why add it on its own when more is better?

Holy slop idea.
