So we have the IRIAF F-14A with R-27R1s just because there was a single picture of it in-game, right? To be clear, I’m not trying to use that logic to justify giving AIM-120s to the F-14D either.
I would expect AIM-120s on another version that could be brought to the game.
I just want AIM-7P’s added to the F-14D
the infamous pilot dale snort change it last sec for them to add more CAs capabilities not during testing btw in your own words for a vehicle must have provisions for it to get a test armaments the f14D meet those requirements and let’s not forget theirs still plenty of evidence that the f14D can use aim120(obviously not that it did in service) but as a testing that it was supposed to have
Well, if we were talking about the real world, they would have some differences. The EM235 would be a bit faster and smaller, with second-generation thermal imaging only for the gunner. The Scimitar Mk 2, on the other hand, is slower and larger, but its greater spaciousness makes it harder to kill its crew. It also has third-generation thermal imaging for the gunner and, I imagine, first-generation thermal imaging for the driver. They would be two similar vehicles, but with their own unique characteristics. The Scimitar BTGI would also have the unique feature of being the smaller hull of the Scimitar Mk 1. It has the 190-horsepower engine, but it does have thermal imaging for the gunner and commander.
If this was true doesnt it undermine your own point?
I heard they scrapped that. North Korea is the new Chinese sub tree. South Korea is the new US sub tree. 😉
Considering the Stormer HVM has been left for dead for how many years now and the solution was to add the Osa/Strela? I hate to be a negative nancy but that’s really not off the table in my view either.

Unfortunately it did not receive the upgrade and thus full provisions for it. It was only planned. The topic you linked too earlier explains that:
The version coming to the game is the standard F-14D variant. Not the experimental F-14A that did receive the modifications and upgrades required to fully use and be compatible with AMRAAM.
As such and as mentioned above, we have no plans to add AMRAAM to either F-14D currently. The version that is related to AMRAAM is the NF-14A: Grumman NF-14A: Fired the AMRAAM, Fired from the AMRAAM

I’m not arguing that it used them in service I’m arguing that it did have involvement in amraam testing they’re saying it doesn’t

And hes saying there was involvement but not on the full production model, only a test aircraft (not the one in game)

Once more again you talking about something you don’t understand the usn never said the f14D needs a lot more modification for the f14D to use AMRAAMs only the software update. And it does have the tech to use AMRAAMs

If there is an aircraft representing all of its sub family variants. In this case the F-14D is an F-14D. Not the NF-14A.
I would appreciate if you could roll back the insults, I linked directly to the very topic and post you yourself linked too earlier. Unless you are now saying the information there was not credible.
The bottom line is it never received them. So it wont in game either.
