With the slot-machine boxes returning, I broke my sabbatical from the game and started to farm sl in coastal. And I keep running into the same bugs(?) regularly with launching torpedoes.

If these are bugs, then how long have these been around?

  • This happens when I turn the torps off and then on again, which results in the green indicator not being visible for 4-5 seconds, and if I launch in this small timeframe, again all torps get launched.

Is it even a feature to launch all torps simultaneously? Because I saw no keybinding for it.

This has always been a feature to my knowledge.

If no specific torpedo launcher is selected, pressing spacebar will result in a launch from all available launchers.

In other words. If there is no green line, you have not selected any specific launcher. So pressing spacebar will result in all launchers launching a torpedo.

The same happens with blue water ships too! But since they have multiple tubes per launcher it’s a less noticable “problem”.

but than the first one is a bug as I do have the green line selected

If the green line is visible but it still launches from all launchers, then yes. I would call that a bug

there is also another one, where it simply refuses to launch any torps despite the launcher being selected, so I have to off and on the torps again to be able to launch it, and usually that’s where I run into the second bug if I am not carefull

You might wanna consider recording this issue and making a bug report.

@Smin1080p_WT Could you look at these bug reports? Its mildly infuriating when a coastal boat with its limited number of torpedoes can’t accurately target enemy ships because the mechanic is bugged.

Some planes have dual bomb release, I assume it is the same for some boats?

You assume wrong. If a torpedo launcher is selected it should only ever launch one torpedo per button press.

Looks like it happening cause your FPS is so low i also sometimes met strange behaviors in naval when fps drops below 60 frames.

oh bud…i dont dip, i live there.i been molded by it.
on a serious note iam not experiencing any fps lag,stutter or dip when these “bugs” happen
