Personally, I don’t even take these events into account. It would be a good idea to sell the vehicle on the market, but it is not worth it.

True, time is money, and the amount of time you need to invest into an event like this could be invested into your job, and no matter how shitty of a job you do, you will always earn more than the event is worth.

In other words, gaijin should let us have a life and make events playable and enjoyable.

Yeah, one of the reason i like SB is because little to no CAS, much easier to counter, specially in top tier.
Much based on players skill than smack guided missiles/bombs in tanks from 10km on top of tanks or gunn them down with annoying helos with FF missiles…
All we need is game modes with GROUND ONLY vehicles, not everybody likes to hear “get skill” when a unskilled CAS player easily bombs you from 5-6km high while ther player stat with ground is in negative or less than 0.5 K/D and only have massive kills because with 1 assist brings in a fully loaded helo or plane then get 5-7 kills then repeat at the same time these ppl are utterly bottom feeders in every other Air game mode, they simply abuse the system (rightfully so) Gaijin refuse to amend.
I am a main Ground player and smack all flying crap out of the air (not by choice, but by need), recently started to use helos and must say when you have 3-5 kills with tank then 3-5 with any helo which is a 3 click killer, i understand the frustration even more.

Currently there are two types of ppl:

  • Get CAS’ed by a bottom Air mode feeder and complain but don’t use any AA (game mode is called Ground RB/SB) and Mr CAS type into in-game chat “skill issue” goes both ways…
  • CAS the hell out of everyone they can as they have easy slow moving targets (just like a bot tanks/pill boxes/bases in Air game modes)

I don’t enjoy playing AA, currently it is a MUST and as soon 4-5 air vehicle is off the air and it’s not too late, the CAS team gets a defeat and suddenly everyone leaves the battle.

The bonus is given for three battles every day for each nation separately and depends on the rank of the researched vehicle. If I’m reading this right, if you can get the bonus more than three times if you’ve got more than 1 nation to top tier?

Yes, that would be how I would read it (assuming no translation fuzziness). Top tier in two nations: six battles, three nations nine, etc. Only kicks in for rank IV+ research progression, and you lose it for that nation if an update changes the designated top tier vehicle in that tree.

huh, sick, I’ve got UK and JPN to top tier, and SWE & FR to Rank six, so shouldn’t be too hard to get lots of bonuses to finish off grinding them and US & IT.

Interesting, because I read it differently.

For me this means if you e.g. have top tier fighter line researched in USA, you will be able to play 3 battles in Russia, 3 in Germany and so on every day with a bonus. But it won’t give you more than 3 battles per nation.

But I agree this could be understood in a few different ways. With how we write sentences in my country I wouldn’t count on more than 3 battles per day, but we will see. For me this bonus is nothing special, it’s like a small RP booster. And every time the devs add the new top tier vehicle, you will lose that bonus until you research that new vehicle. In my opinion it won’t be as huge deal as people think it is.

In the old forum there was a very nice suggestion to just give a permanent bonus to other nations, when you research/buy/spade specific rank fully, something like that:

Basically, by fully researching/buying/spading specific rank you would get a permanent RP bonus for the same rank in all nations. It could be like 5% or 10% per nation, it doesn’t really matter, and would be increased with more nations researched. It would be something that actually is not that hard to implement. But I guess that would be too much to ask, they clearly don’t want permanent bonuses.

Agreed, that is a second possible reading.

The original, if bilinguals want to try to parse it themselves, was:

  • Бонус при исследовании техники новых игровых наций. После получения топовой техники в одной стране (такая техника будет явно отмечена в дереве исследования) добавляется бонус к исследованию техники этого типа в других странах, в которых ещё не получен топ. Бонус даётся на три боя каждый день для каждой страны по отдельности и зависит от ранга исследуемой техники (ориентировочные значения): IV ранг +15%, V ранг +25%, VI ранг +35%, VII-VIII ранг +50%. Четвёртое крупное обновление года (октябрь-ноябрь). (link)

The key phrase there would be “для каждой страны по отдельности” which the English version translates as “for each nation separately.”

When can we get helicopters in Air Simulation Battle. Pve heli is not enjoyable and i dont want to be toxic when everyone want to enjoy they ground vehicle. Sim would be a perfect place for Heli to embrace its full strength. Please consider it for theis upcoming update or the next update after that.

Yeah, how it tends to be, just another top heavy reward, going from x2 for everyone for all nations for the first win of the day… not first match, first WIN so it doesn’t get wasted on a loss… and now we’ll get… one of the days, a fraction of that, as low as a measly 15% and only after spending probably hundreds of hours on a tree.

If the skill bonus wasn’t so lackluster we wouldn’t have needed this either, that’s another feature that doesn’t benefit the vast majority of players.

Plus with rewards being locked behind a win and a lengthy game the vast majority of you effort goes to waste…

Well…France AMX-50s have the autoloader modeled, but it cannot take any damage…still better then what they did to Otomatic, they took the small 76mm breach and 2 autoloaders and made it just into one massive block breach

Glad to hear that, but hopefully not just lowering the player count as the furball in the center of the map is the actual issue at upper tier air RB.
I think it would be the best to spread out players over the map, maybe center it around several key objectives like intercepting, ground striking or air superiority missions that you can pick.

Maybe bring back carrier spawns for air RB and have multiple airbases in several areas of the map so you don’t have a furball and smaller groups of players doing their strategic objectives.

This in my opinion would make air RB more tactical, fun and realistic and would improve the experience for everyone.

In regards to the split BR for Ground/Air, which one will be used for SRE gamemode which has a BR cap that’s changing throughout the season? The ground-BR one? While it is quite similar to ground RB, the players do try to fight air-air without ground involvement as much as possible usually, so IMO the higher one of ground/air should be used for everything to stay fair and make the already very powerful air vehicles used in this gamemode more balanced.
