the old style of events are no longer a thing, just the single vehicle grind ones and the occasional cosmetic reward like the Mad Max one

Oxy, I’m trying to submit a bug report since the s&d update was released. I am on Xbox and can’t submit my report as I can’t find which “client” I am running on Xbox. Is this an existing issue or am I being blind and not seeing it?

RP Bonuses for New Nations (…) I’m very aware that to some this may come across like we’re just riding this feature out until it’s forgotten, but we are (hopefully!) several weeks away from it being ready.
The only relevant information I see, underneath all these explanations, is that you will need another several week delay for a feature you promised to implement by November last year.

Its a bad idea for whoever tries to do stock works. If some popular vehicles such as the object 292 can be redeemed again, no matter if its tradable or not, the obj292 will see a price tank because the demand has suddenly drop.
Kind of ignoring the issues that cropped up aren’t you?
The customization, while not really too crazy is a pretty nice addition.

PS. But I agree, such a pen grip is a bit disturbing. But I have seen worse.

Technical difficulties are an understandable reason to delay - once or twice. We are talking about, I think, the fifth delay, as I said, original roadmap intended this feature in November, that’s almost 9 months ago. I do not deny that programming is hard, but this feature is clearly, not at all, their priority, so they are still playing for time.

It’s already 1/3 of the clones. And is also incorrectly named on top of it.
Oh hey, it’ll be only select few in the major patch, and then it’ll be forgotten. Just like spall liners, just like more useless modules for tanks(30 seconds of repair of autoloader only when stationary vs. 8 of loader replacement while on the move, and still able to fire and reload btw).

Maybe that is the goal. Make it so worthless that people complain and then they roll the “bonus” back. Gaijin has no interest in providing any sort of bonus that decreases the grind in any way. As I said elsewhere:
They’re having a meeting to discuss the planning of the meeting to discuss the implementation of the plan talked about in the previous meeting which will require more meetings. This was supposed to have been released in November 2023. They don’t want to implement this because it could potentially decrease the grind. They don’t want happy players they want frustrated players that spend money to bypass the grind.

I won’t pretend to understand the complexity, it sounds like something had to be built from scratch and ran into integration issues. To me, it is understandable why it had to be pushed back.
However, I do share skepticism and pessimism regarding the feature itself. Since it is a feature intended to reduce grind, I can see why it can be assumed to be a lower priority. As long as it’s still implemented, I won’t mind as much the delays, but how they intend to implement it bothers me more than the delays do.
What about lesser event vehicles like the BV-155? Also, I’ve seen a lot of players asking for the return of the Ka-Chi

Thank you for the interest of our bug reports. It makes the game much more playable and enjoyable with those bugs fixes. If you have the time, please do make sure to check the reports on the reporting section. Over the years I’ve found that for every 20 or so moderators that checks a report and only one person ends up actually responding to it. I’ve got 5 bug reports, three of them are more than 4 months old, and only one of them got a response.
I understand that you have also volunteer workers to make your load a little bit manageable. And I understand that solving or identifying a bug can take too much time, in fact can even take more than a year, I get this, it’s not an easy process. But I don’t think responding to a bug report should take that much of a time.
Don’t take this as insulting, I am trying to be constructive here. I really do love this game, and want it to advance to a point where it satisfies everyone. I’ve been playing this game for 9 years, and we have come a long way together. And keep up the work, I am supporting all of you.
