Most SPAA mains are pretty braindead and just sit in one spot whole game anyways.

I hope this is completely wrong on the whole North and South Koreas being Separate. JUST NO.

Personally I hope it is completely right on them being separate :)

as a sim player I dislike having to fight planes without a way to distinguish a friendly plane from an enemy plane by looking at them because they are the exact same plane down to the camo

Also, China helps the DPRK with a lot of technical stuff and does provide them weapons; some DPRK stuff is based on stuff imported from the PRC.
The one I disagree with is South Korea to America; I see what they’re going for but its like trying to add another layer to a sandwich that’s already been made. I’d say it fits better in Japan purely for gameplay and location reasons than any political stuff (although they have been trying to not want to end each other recently so). Adding it to the US just seems like content bloat of all time it isn’t necessary

-_- you know they can just add the insignia to the vehicle. They did it with Finland.

Who was trained by the USSR?, most of China’s so-called domesticated vehicles were just T-54/55’s, T-62’s, and T-72’s with extra steps.

I have said this so many times, they cannot put South Korea or any of the Koreas into Japan because of historical reasons, they also cannot ignore this because just adding Korea or either into Japan would be seen as Controversial. To the point South Korea will likely ban the game from their entire country till it’s reversed, they don’t joke around with things like this.

It’s hard enough to spot aircraft silhouettes at long ranges, Trying to see Roundels at anything other than point blank range is really hard. At which point, you might as well just wait for the markers to appear below 800m

Then identify the aircraft. Chances are unless the enemy pilot sees you, then your good to go, however, if they do see you you know their hostile. It’s not rocket science.

Also before you even think of saying anything Morvran, if you have to get into the range where they are turning upon you, then you already have screwed up.

Can you tell the difference between a US F-4J and a Japanese F-4J at long distance?

If I see an F-4J I shoot the F-4J.

So what if they were a friendly?

Acceptable casualties.

Or maybe they just shouldnt put same aircraft on both teams.

Or maybe they should have used their eyes and tilted their wings if they were friend or foe. Wing signals exist for a reason, you slightly tilt your wings can often signal: Your friendly, or you use the chat and say it.

Harrier Gr7.

I really dont have time at 12.7 to be worrying about whether the thing flying at me, locking onto me is a US F-16 or Chinese F-16. If I wait, I die if its a bad US player or an enemy player

Most players dont respond to quick message pings (hell i’ve had a Friendly F-15A kill me before, despite me defending against multiple missiles and spamming quick messages)

You can name any aircraft you want bud, the results are the same, if they refuse to signal who they are and what they want, I will treat them all as hostile. I will not shoot upon them unless they make themselves clear as hostiles.

In the game, you have 4 options: You either don’t do jack and let me fly to your side or into the range where I could missile or fire my gun, or B: You use quick commands or chat. Or necessary wing signals.

You have 4 options, if you’re gonna not use the options given then that is completely on you.

Mhm. You try seeing a small insignia on a plane while you’re in a furball trying to keep track of who’s friendly and who isn’t.

Who was trained by the USSR? Both of them? But, see, the issue is that the USSR doesn’t need a sub-tree. It has 5 fully fleshed out tech tree lines. China does not.

Me looking at the Phantom and concluding that it is enemy because our team shouldn’t have Phantoms (it is friendly) (I just shot it)

Literally no one does this. The most you get is someone calling out “On me!” and sometimes you don’t even get that.

This is how you get kicked from a game for teamkilling (suboptimal)

And just so you know, it isn’t your game. Other people can play it too even if they don’t know about your self-imposed rules.

I am aware because this has been stated literally endless as a reason to justify why or why not. However, from a purely gameplay standpoint South Korea would fit best in Japan, both for filling the tree and covering some of Japan’s weaknesses.
Also tf?? ban the game lmao?? thats such a jump.
May I remind you that

In spite of the issues, both South Korea and Japan have taken priorities to work alongside the United States in countering recent threats from China, Russia, and North Korea.

The American–Japanese–Korean trilateral pact - Wikipedia literally exists

Like it or not, they are allies. Current world events have shaped this. They can fit together. But this is a bit (extremely) off topic for a post about cluster bombs. If you want to debate more, DM me.

If you’re in a furball then you’re already dead.

If you had bothered to read everything you would have noticed that the final words stated:
"if they refuse to signal who they are and what they want, I will treat them all as hostile.

Yeah, no one does and that’s why they complain on the forums, it’s general incompetence.

Once again, despite relations being better it still doesn’t matter on the grand scale of things. Government is Government, people are people, and people are less forgiving unless they decide to forgive you. If you also bothered to look into Asian countries and look into Aging populations, the older people take priority, younger folks over there don’t have much of a say.

You can use it purely by gameplay standards and people will not care, it’s not an excuse that they care for.

Despite i found the recent discussions quite interesting - a short reminder:

The thread deals with cluster bombs…

Have a good one!
