Heh while there’s that, I compared the Light Destroyer/ Destroyer Escort/ Kaibōkan Matsu to Ghibli in my head when I first heard it would be 3.7 bluewater when it has more in common with coastal ships looks are style of armament placement to the Shōnan. (iirc it was built on a bridge between the Ōtori class Torpedo Boat to some heavier Destroyer types).
I know some stats.
• 3× 1×1/1.2 127 mm cannons
• 1×4 610 mm torpedoes centreline
• 13×1 Type 96, tbh in game a better LAA, three extra barrels
• 2kts faster
• 2900RP
• 3.7
It’s a bloody joke is what it’s, a ship that blurs lines & yet ends up in bluewater while Ghibli suffers the bullshit of being a 4.0 coastal when it could’ve been a 3.3 bluewater itself and there’s no ohh go suggest a BR on the next BR change post as some people might Ohh but you won’t believe what happened next…
I’d not be surprised if the weaker post war JDS Wakaba Ex Nashi while be 3.3 BR 200k rp coastal if it ever comes.
Pah I should’ve waited until time update to ask what the devs were smoking for their decisions on WHAT BR’s they chose… (1Y chat ban for staff abuse but these decisions are down right player abuse)…
@YaSen, Ahh like the ones my squadron member SpanishAvenger started doing with the two machines & Green / Red text that most hated but started a trend that never died out.

Finally got around to making a post discussing the Ghibli, Matsu & Grecale, hopefully it drums up some discussion outside of this sad quarter of the forums.
Unfortunately like last time it’ll probably end up here in this section & left to be forgotten.
