So when is China going to get a top tier flanker that you don’t have to pay for? Russia has the SU-30 SM and SU-30 SM2. China doesn’t even have a good 14+ BR top tier aircraft that is any good. The J-10C is subpar and the Mirage is terrible even though it has decent missiles. The radar is it’s handicap…

That would be nice. It would also be nice to see Israel get some planes that can compete at top tier. And for the record I have fully unlocked the US, China, Israel, and up to both Typhoons on Great Britain. I’m unlocking Rank V on Russia and finishing up Rank IV on Japan so I’m not just asking for Israel because it has the shortest aviation tech tree ; )…I really have no plans to play Italy, Sweden, or France. They just don’t really interest me. I’m only in rank II in Germany so one day I may get there. Good day sir…

I’d rather get the chinese su-35 tbh. In a perfect world we’d get both, but if I had to choose one I’d rather china get su-35.
J-16 is mostly worse than su-35. I didn’t know the j-16 didn’t have a spherical maws like su-35, it’s stuck with rear aspect only maws.
It also doesn’t get good air to ground stuff like kh38mt/mle nor carry as many missiles. As well as worse radar and irst with similar engines but with no tvc.
only good things about j-16 is that its lighter than su-35 and it gets chinese missiles (though russian ones are better for the current meta anyways)

But since the SM2 is a literal late 2024-2025 imaginary spec aircraft that boat has sailed.
And gaijin showed with the SU-30MKK the wingtip pylons aren’t an issue since they’ll just swap them
The only thing the J-16 would be superior in is lower weight and speed

Actually your right but i have a feeling gaijin will not jump from j11b to straight j16. Thats just me because i know there are things that can be added before it.
And about the su35, china wont get it because of the rule of coutry producer get it first and export models comes next update.
Kinda how the f18E happen. Us got it last update, export for others are comming next update.
All my bet are su30mk2 since with the leaks says it gonna be after jh7. Or j15 variant

After playing China for a few years now my expectations are extremely low gaijin is allergic to giving china something competitive on time at the top so the MK2 is my guess since its practically identical to the MKK

Mk2 i think get a new radar and get access to chinese ground munitions while keeping the russian missiles like r27/r73/r77-1 and having pl12 and pl8 l ( maybe even pl12A)
The MK2 still only gets a Mscan and just like the MKK which is also compatible with the R-77-1 with photographic evidence it won’t get them since its not worth the bump in BR.
It’d be identical to the AMV but with PL-12/8B
And it gets no Chinese A2G AFAIK
