I mean it means nothing right? The modern ships are never going to be added, like we have just entered the stage of late WWII except in WT mobile. So it is not like you will have any use for it just like the one for Tornado, so it can be added but it will just be useless.

I read an article that claimed J-7E was the first J-7 which didn’t need a counterweight to mount pythons. Also PL-8A is likely just a rename of PL-8 when the B version was introduced
You need to mention the book or the source’s name and other details
J7E’s capability to carry PL8s are thought through at the design stage, J7E was integrated with PL8 right from the start and PL8B should be about the same. J7G wise I have little knowledge on how they actually integrated it.
It had PL-8 from the beginning. You can see pictures of prototype J-7Gs with PL-8.
