who knows, its also basically impossible to do it completely unbiased, would be 100x worse than whatever bias people currently complain about
If War Thunder wasn’t marketed as a game that very likely simulates real combat, its advantages over World of Tanks and Armoured Warfare wouldn’t be very obvious. In other words, the game’s selling point is its realism. In this regard, it seems that nowhere in the world can beat War Thunder.
The more ridiculous the distortion, the more this game is digging its own grave, I think.
Obviously, this isn’t a game for using your imagination, it’s a game that highly simulates real vehicle combat. If War Thunder started playing around and stopped simulating reality, the game would lose its unique features and appeal.
Unless its armor scheme is fully declassified and available to the public, it wont be 100% the same as irl.

It seems the most hardcore tank simulation game is: Steel Beasts Pro PE Gunner, HEAT, PC
For gameplay mechanics, they are.
Even those games dont have 100% accurate armor for modern tanks.
Issue is, without proper source, modern MBT armor is just pure guesstimation, and as such is subject to which nation developers fancy.
China got the shirt end of the stick, but its not the only one. On the other end of spectrum you have devs stating UK MoD sources are incorrect because INGAME L27A1(or was it this shell?) cant UFP T-80U.
