Seriously, have you played ZTZ99A and VT4A in top BR?
Maybe im jumping the gun and yes the oto is better at air killing however it doesnt matter much when a plane fires a missile from beyond your radars range lol
The OTOMATIC also has “infinite” proximity rounds to fire.
@山_田_凉
Stop harassing Chinese people and Chinese tech tree players.
The oto has like 24 rounds in the ready rack it can fire for like 10 seconds before its out and takes forever to get them back
HE-VT AAs are mostly useless against anything with guided munitions.
And each aircraft only requires 1 - 5 shots, worst case 10.
This is also a topic of how Chinese CAS is currently balanced which means it’s weaker than other tech trees.
@Molgreic
I’ve used tanks similar to ZTZ99A which is why I’m going for it; I know ZTZ99A is going to be among my favorite tanks in War Thunder due to its mobility and uniqueness.
AND THERE IS THE TRUTH HE DOESNT EVEN OWN THE TANKS BAHAHAHAHAHAH THIS IS INSANE.
Side note when firing at long ranges it takes tons of rounds and if your shooting at 2 different targets you will be out of ammo and helpless (also its hella easy to dodge the rounds)

You don’t need to own tanks to know their capabilities.
Firing at long ranges depends on skill, and ZTZ99A has a minimum of 23 rounds available.
And I see @山_田_凉 is still calling you and everyone here “trolls” and being extremely hateful of China.
I get that you hate China @山_田_凉 but stop trolling and derailing topics, please.
Not really, Helis most of the time are in hover mode so it’s easier to kill, when it comes to planes specially the ones that need to fly straight in order to look for targets that’s when you need to shoot.
Literally every top tier tank is good for sniping thats why i said chinese tanks need a buff for close ranges. also yes you do need to own tanks to know how well they preform as stats dont mean anything most of the time
Completely agree however if they are looking at you or are not in hover mode you wll never kill them if they are smart
Yes you’re surely shooting and hitting them from 10km away.
No, you need to have a general knowledge and practice of tank doctrine to know how tanks will perform.
I have thousands of hours of tank experience as well.
I can tell you all tanks are equally weak in CQC due to idler wheel weakspot and so forth.
I can tell you T-80BVM is better at medium ranges than long ranges due to its poor turret armor.
I can tell you that Abrams, T-90M, and ZTZ99A are best at longer ranges, and each have issues in closer ranges.
You and I agree more than we disagree, and we should focus on our agreements.
Especially when our disagreements are minor preference differences.
ADATS can’t reach 10km, in 8km the missile starts shaking and then it’s useless.
I agree, as a China main they do need some buffs and their Helios need more weapons since irl they can carry way more armaments… same with the jets, we just get basic LGB’s yet we can be getting massive AShM’s, AGM’s and a massive range of LGB’s and GPS bombs
And HSTV-L can kill planes at 10km of range effectively ?
Which it should as you’re calling it to be better.
So your saying some tanks are better than others in curtain areas. Thats like… common knowledge. Chinese tanks need a buff. Russian tanks may look similar but are very different and are much better. The ONLY thing china has over russian tanks is top speed which they dont always even reach on small maps. Not to mention the t80bvm has better acceleration better reload better round and better armor. Russian tanks are better period.
HSTV-L can do a better job in killing planes when they come closer, the shell i suppose can’t hit after 6km.
War Thunder is also not about buffs/nerfs, changes to tanks needs to be bound in reality.
Which means if I say want a tank’s reload changed I must provide documents that proves the fastest reload is below that of the desired reload I want.
In the case of manual loaders, the fastest reload is 3.5 seconds with ammo stored in the rear of the turret, so a 5 second reload is plausible.
In the case of Type 99A I’d need a proof, via documentation, that my preferred reload is slower than the fastest reload I want. Cause while reload is a balancing measure, you still need proof that the reload is FASTER [or at least as fast] in real life than the reload applied in-game.
And armor requires documentation period.
