Gaijin make every possible vehicle that are suppose to be “unique” turnining them in to aboustly copy and paste making it fell the same…
The Leclerc is not a model of the Abrams.
The M1A2T is.
Taiwan deserves its unique Abrams.
America deserves the Korean tanks it had a direct hand in creating then.
The Australian M1A1 AIM, the Canadian Leopard 2, and the Polish Leopard 2 all went to the trees of their respective manufacturers, not the owning nation. The M1A2T should be no different.
“China isn’t a tech tree.” - Rage baiters.
Poland, Canada, and Australia aren’t tech trees in War Thunder.
China is.
china now need a fast reload MBT,M1A2T will be best choise because gaijin cannot give it a stupid number on speed, reload time, and KE, but china product will.
M48, M60 and all M4 are goeted
The People’s Republic of China does not operate any variant of the Abrams tank and they possess their own domestic capability to produce tanks.
The so named Republic of China is not a recognized nation by the UN, and are more appropriately described as a US-backed Private Military.
Canada and Australia are similar to Taiwan in that they do not have their own tree. However, instead of giving their tanks to the Commonwealth, Great Britain’s tech tree, as you propose for Taiwan, their tanks went to whoever made them. As such, Taiwan operated tanks should go to the manufacturing country. In the case of the M1A2T, that is the United States.

No one mentioned the PRC.
China is not the PRC/ROC separately, it’s both.
Just as Germany in War Thunder isn’t the German R…, Federal Republic, DDR, or Weimar Republic.
It’s all 4.
Taiwan is a tech tree in War Thunder, just as the Federal Republic of Germany is.
Anyone saying otherwise is likely trying to intentionally upset others.
@Fanta_3412
Dude, that’s not what rage bait is.
Rage bait is calling unique vehicles copy-paste to upset fans of those vehicles.
The word “unique” is exclusively a compliment, and is incapable of upsetting anyone.
Oh look, you’re being obtuse on purpose. France has three different Leopard 2s. Ranging all the way to 12.0.

@Perinvisus
The 2A5NL is in no other tech tree.
And the 2A6NL is from Finland, where the model of the 2A6NL was moved to Finland during the dev server.
2A6NL and 2A5NL are tanks only in the French tech tree and no where else.
My Dutch friend provided evidence for the 2A6NL, and I already knew 2A5NL was no where else.
Keep being surprised your bullying of good people haven’t driven them off the site.
US is one of the biggest military arms exporter in the world, so it’s obvious a lot of countries will have US equipment and thus be eligible for addition in to the game under their own flag.
And ?
Leopards are all over the nations so can’t see why M1s couldn’t follow.
That precedent is long gone when you look at Sweden’s, NL’s and Italy’s Leopards being present in tech trees that aren’t German.
They’re slightly altered versions of the Leopard 2. These aren’t original or new tanks. It’s taking the signature tank of one of the main nations and doling it out like candy to everyone else. You’re completely aware of that and are arguing entirely in bad faith here.
The East German vehicles are a paltry 2 in the German ground tree, while the vast majority of Soviet vehicles remain unique to the Soviet tree. None in the top tiers.
That said, the British Commonwealth has been fully explored inside the Great Britain tech tree. South Africa, Canada, India, Australia, and so forth are all in there… EXCEPT for the M1A1 AIM of Australia and the Canadian Leopard 2.
Taiwan is just like the Commonwealth nations in that way. Domestically produced tanks of the Commonwealth do end up in the British tree, but not the foreign produced M1A1 and Leo 2.
During the very early tiers, the ROC was China. But the PRC won the Chinese Civil War, and the ROC ceased to exist as a representation of China.
The US is one of the biggest arms exporters, yes, but Gaijin has set two precedents:
1.) They will give foreign export vehicles to the domestic manufacturer, as seen with the AIM and Canadian Leo.
2.) They will give foreign export vehicles used by other nations as sub trees of a main nation, as they deem necessary.
They have done both of these things at the same time with little reason. We can argue all day why they should have just used a different German Leo variant instead of the Canadian one, or added a domestic tank of another type. Gaijin can and will do both as it deems fit.
Italy’s addition of the Leo was the only one to actually make it a viable nation at top tier. It has a very bad domestic MBT that doesn’t play well. That is one argument.
Sweden only has Leo variants, so without it, the tree wouldn’t have top tier.
France did not need Leo 2s. They had plenty of domestic tanks to use.
China absolutely does not need an Abrams. It isn’t in a terrible spot like Italy, and it doesn’t only have foreign import vehicles like Sweden. China has a vast domestic tank industry to fill its roster triplefold.
Gaijin needs to stop giving foreign tanks to nations that don’t need it.
Just because they put the Leo 2 all over the place doesn’t mean we should continue to accept it and encourage them to do so, especially at the detriment of other nations.
Strv 121 and Italian 2A4 aren’t a part of any subtree.
And they still got it.
That ship has long sailed by now.
Can of worms has been opened, no reason to close it just so US and M1s could “benefit” from that.
stona_wt must be sleeping if this thread is still open XD
The Hungarian sub-tree was add to Italy specifically to make Italy a viable top tier nation.
The can of worms can be closed and should. Just because it was done before is not an argument to do it again. I want the uniqueness and reward of the US tree to be protected, you are arguing against that solely because they already ruined Germany and the Leo? Why is making things worse a good thing?
There is no can of worms.
The precedent has never been changed from operator country.
There is a poster explicitly lying to upset Taiwanese people and their supporters.
Said poster even made an overt claim against Taiwan, which is blatant trolling and injecting politics.
