None of the nations in the game have purchased Abrams tanks. None. What Gajin does is pick and chose smaller nations to throw tanks into the main nations as they see fit. The “sub-nation” trees. At first it was just to make a nation viable but now they do it however they please. Australian and Canadian tanks? Not in the British tree. Indian tanks? British tree to give them Soviet stuff for some reason.
Might as well make the argument for a NATO sub-tree for the United States and give them everything and anything the alliance has used. Nobody gets unique tanks!
In fact, let’s get rid of separate nations all together. One big world tree so players can play however they want.
Nah we gotta wait for the Wang Cheng project maybe seeing a Abrams on a M60 hull or even Curse a Abrams turret on an IFV or even a Abrams made out of ERA or something… oh wait they already start the project…
I don’t mind Abrams being in the other tech tree, but the way Gaijin is handling the addition of export tanks/planes to minor nation could be better.
VT4 going to Japanese tree because it’s Thai is rather a stretch, and I can see why the Chinese mains are not happy about it. Same goes for Abrams going to China, it’s also a stretch. Either all of these exports’ tanks go to the tech tree gaijin planned so everyone is equally upset or not a single one come at all. It brings too much controversial and politics into it and I think it’s best to avoid adding these tanks for now.
The Republic of China should get its M1A2T that is being crewed as we speak.
M1A2T is a unique Abrams that no other country uses, made for the Chinese environment.
USA has 7 top tier tanks, all but 2 being under-BR’d. The fact that M1A1 HC, Click Bait, and AIM are 11.7 while their equivalents are 12.0 in USSR, France, etc is wild.
China only has 4.
I don’t get the irrational hatred against Taiwan getting its rightful vehicles.
This topic is probably just rage bait… but it’s possible that it’s not.
@Perinvisus
No top tier German tanks have been copy-pasted to other tech trees.
@Perinvisus
Leopard 2A4 isn’t top tier, it’s 10.7. And a number of the 2A4s are unique.
Claiming that top tier Leopards are copy-paste would be rage bait attempting to upset Germans, Dutch, etc though.
We could just protets like Chinies players did. Im sure they didnt want the vt4 to be added for sinngapure, so we could say no we dont want teh M1A2 for China. For protest we schould share this page to evrey us main and dislike gajin in staem, etc
Nearly all M1’s play almost exactly the same with very few game play differences.
The M1A2T would play just like any other Abrams, From a game play perspective, It would not be unique at all.
Its like claiming the Sherman 2 in the British tree is “unique” to the M4A1 because Gaijin randomly decided to give it an APCR shell when the other 99.99% of the vehicle is exactly the same.
Alas my analysis has solely been looking at 12.0 Rank 8 Tanks. A deeper analysis of rank 8 by itself still grants Germany the Polish variant of Germany’s own Leopard 2, and only puts the US on par with China, Russia, and the UK. Germany, Sweden, and France all have more Rank 8 tanks. Italy still only has 2.
Why should China now pull ahead of the United States with one of America’s own tanks? It shouldn’t
If we want to look at 11.0 and up, China and the US have equal numbers of tanks in their tech trees, though China an additional MBT while the US has the HSTV-L. Throwing in premium and Squadron vehicles, the US only has one more than China, that being the RDF/LT. In this case, China should get a new Light Tank, which they have asked for, of which China produces many, not an MBT.
