Some units get a sword
Horses are cool and all but do you think they’d be appropriate in war thunder? If the devs keep the quad based gameplay you’d have to have a bunch of A.I horses running around. Light transport vehicles like Humvees or Tigrs make more sense.

Its more or less part of some infantry formations IRL to you can add them as a squad of sorts. The way I would do it is this you spawn on your horse and you can ride it with your squad until you want to get off. The AI horse would stay in place unless disturbed (near by enemy they will run away) or requested to move to your selected location (benefit over a motorbike you can train a horse to come to a sound of a whistle).
It would be a similar system to a motorbike squad but with a few more tricks and more maneuverability. Cavalry squads are still squads at the end of the day they do soldiery just like a normal trooper but with a horse if needed.
I could see it working for larger maps. Maybe like an infantry EC mode. Devs probably wouldn’t put that much effort into it though. We got helicopters but the only mode designed for them hasn’t been touched in years and a big chunk of them are just the same recycled airframes. We gotta see how they treat the Infantry gamemode first.

I made a horse discussion section for horses under Infantry. Overall in enlisted you can drive a truck for all of 30 seconds before being hosed down by a MG so overall the maps wont be that different in size. The way for maps which I should go cook up a discussion post for it should be bigger but detail becomes an issue. Large detail full maps will be so bad for computers not build yesterday.

Anyway the only byd cars the Chinese military uses is for staff cars but it would be funny.
