Chilean Ground Forces Sub-tree

Actually, it would be quite suitable. There is already a machine with the same configuration in the Israeli TT, so there could easily be two.

The problem is that the barrel was removed for the rocket launch test, so if Gaijin added it, I don’t know if it would be done only as a rocket launcher without the barrel or with the barrel being similar to the Magach Hydra.

Ah now I see. Well then it is quite questionable.

The other day they shared this photo during a live on YouTube while talking about the Beagle crisis of 1980, it is an LVTP-5 which is basically an American amphibious assault armored vehicle with the 81mm rocket launchers of the Chilean Mowag grenadier installed, perhaps it could be an 8.0 event/premium vehicle.

After thinking about it for a while I decided to add the EE-9 M2 Cascavel in the two versions that served in Chile when there was almost war with neighboring countries, being used in the tank destroyer group.

EE-9 M2 (ET-90 I) Cascavel

EE-9 M2 (HS-90) Cascavel

A few days ago the Turkish Defense Ministry shared the following image, apparently it could represent the modernization for both Chile and Turkey since Aselsan is in charge of both projects. Or at least the final result of the modernization of the Chilean Leopard 2 would be something very similar to this.

Let me throw this to give a little more insight to this concept.

It’s basically everything that’s budgeted for the Chilean modernization. The only thing that’s not 100% known if it will be added yet is the matter of additional armor, since according to some Chilean sources I have, other armor packages from other companies have also been analyzed. But in general terms, the image shows everything the media has been showing for Chile. It even resembles the model that was at FIDAE 2024 and of which I took several photos.
