Chieftain Mk 10, Chieftain 900 and T-72M1 Battle Ratings

what do you mean clarify? I didnt make the document

Can you not just google 84mm HEAT…

Also, yeah wow, a 1940s era Recoilless rifles heat round im sure that had TONS of power.

Its not like the like 3 inches of Chobham on the sides skirts was enough to stop that.

OF COURSE COMPOSITE STOPPED THAT, that was the entire point.

Carl Gustav

Here’s what I think would be fairly reasonable:

  • Chieftain Mk.10 stays at 9.3 but gets a 6.7s reload and HP buff (760 → ~850).
  • Chieftain Mk 900 stays at 9.3 but gets a 6.7s reload.
  • Khalid moves up to 9.7 with L23A1 and a 6.7s reload.
  • Chieftain Mk.11 gets added to 9.7 with L23A1 and a 6.7s reload.
  • All the good 9.3s get moved up to 9.7 as well.

Alternatively:

  • Chieftain Mk.10 stays at 9.3 but gets L23A1 and HP buff (760 → ~850).
  • Chieftain Mk 900 stays at 9.3 but gets L23A1.
  • Khalid moves up to 9.7 with L23A1 and a 6.7s reload.
  • Chieftain Mk.11 gets added to 9.7 with L23A1 and a 6.7s reload.
  • All the good 9.3s get moved up to 9.7 as well.
  • All the good 10.0s get moved up to 10.3 as well.

It’s still in use today

Would be nice IMO

I said it in another post, that HP buff is total NONSENSE.

The Chieftains were stuck with 760hp.

The Recovery vehicles did get more power yes, But the ACTUAL Chieftain MBTs had the lower HP rating to keep the Transmission from dying, since they weighed so much more.

Why would the Chieftain 900 even be a thing, if the Fixed Reliable late L60s only made 50 less HP?

Please stop being dense, i said the Karl Gustav has been in service SINCE the 1940s not that the same round was in service since then

Presence of L23 and Not L23A1 on All is a BUG as L23 does not exist (Report)

Mk.10 should have 852ps (Report)

Chieftains should be able to reload in 6 seconds (report) But can also according to other sources manage 5 seconds

Off the top of my head, that’s at least 400mm CE protection

reminder, the 20 pounders should be able to put rounds down range every 4 seconds… But gaijin doesn’t care. Haven’t for years. Get over it.

The reload was fine, the tank was fine. it just fucking needed to stay at 9.0 where it had been for EONS. Even if it got moved up to 10.0 Gaijin won’t buff it. They never buff anything British, Outside of the TTD which was a utterly ridiculous move.

Staying at 9.0 made sense, but sadly gaijin don’t agree and ignored our feedback, so now the best course of action is to try and get it buffed in other ways

The same happened with the Challenger Mk.3, where they moved it up and people petitioned for it to get L26 and it worked

The fact you’re offering a giant barely armoured weak spot full of ammo every time you peak doesnt help, the ammo is the highest point on the vehicle its silly

If you truly want them all to shoot L23A1 then some BRs / reload buffs should be adjusted.

Again, that would change their BRs. Plus reload of manual loaders is a soft property, meaning it’s up to Gaijin to change it based on balance.

Why not peitiion to get it moved BACK DOWN? Speak the fuck up about it being a dumb decision.

Even with Buffs its flat out going to get steamrolled in even 9.7 games. It already did. A faster reload and a barely better APFSDS round won’t help the fact that its armor only worked in a downtier, or the fact its horribly slow, or its horrible sights, or its lack of thermals, ANY of that.

it WORKED at 9.0, because it was in a spot where it got downtiers more than Uptiers, in Uptiers it just folded fast because you would get slapped by something with 3BM-42, or 3BM-60, and nuke you from across the map.

you DO realize the L60 was in all kinds of other vehicles right? Even LOCOMOTIVES? the Chieftains weren’t the only vehicle to use it. And they were LIMITED at 760hp.

Even primary sources talking about the Totem pole program and everything call out the 760hp.

if i remember right the full document there specifically mentions the variants as used in the Cheiftain
