I still think this is the best way to do it. I’d also suggest:
- Making L15A5 the stock round.
- Remove the fake L23 and make L23A1 the top ammo.

Britain does not have L23 rounds, in a lot of documentation L23 is referred to, but it is shorthand for the L23A1. Whenever you see a L23/L26 etc referred to by the British military, it is always the A1 version, they just call it the L23 instead of the L23A1 because everybody knows the L23A1 is the L23.
Gaijin’s L23 is completely and utterly made up, it never existed and exists in game solely because somebody at Gaijin has seen some sources calling the L23A1 “L23” and others calling it the “L23A1” and decided therefore they must be different.
It’s like one person called it KFC and another Kentucky Fried Chicken, it’s the same thing.

Same as L15A5 is a direct C&P of L15A3 when L15A5 was the round we used in the L11 cannon for APDS up unitl L23A1 went into service in 1984 I think it was.
Last I checked L15A5 should be clloser to L23 as a round so over 300 flat penetration and nearly 200 angled etc etc.
I mean yeah +1 but Gaijin will add it at like 10.7

I played that thing a little bit and I could say it’s a little bit suck compare to the rest of 9.3s, it’s a chieftain MK10 that is a tiny bit quicker but worse optics and turret armor. Olifant are straight up a much better tank in terms of mobility, firepower and FCS. This br range is still compressed as hell that they tried their best to move these guys away from the pathetic 8.0s lol

I mean most 9.0s are punching down quite hard, the ZTZ88s do it ridiculously well.
So it’s effectively in game s nk5 with more mobility, better round the correct hull, the addoj armour ain’t stopping much or any 10.3 rounds.
As well as that at the same BR youve got stuff like the ZTZ96 now which fires a round comparable to 3bm42 at 9.3, reloads the same, better mobility, armour, optics etc
I think the issue isn’t that its compressed , it’s the fact they are moving one or two vehicle’s every so often with no rhyme or reason compared to other vehicles.
They need to actually overhaul the damn BR brackets to make a lot of vehicles more palatable.
