I play warthunder through Steam. What am i supposed to do with all these chests ive got. I cant buy keys from the market cause i play on steam.
You can still sell and buy on the marketplace if you play on steam.
If you do not want to do that you can still exchange the chests for warbonds or recycle the items (2 chests for a random item).

Both, anytime i go to buy keys it says i need to setup 2 factor. But i cant since im registered through steam. And how do i recylce them?
Sorry, looks like I’m wrong about recycling chests. Either way it is good to know for other items such as discounts, the item recycling tab is in your inventory.
You should still be able to set up 2FA if you are in steam. What’s the issue with that? Do you get any error? The 2FA is just like any other 2FA, you can use google authenticator.
why i go to try and set it up it does not let my click any of the security tabs
i cannot click on any of the link, change, setting ect.
Looks like you first need to link an email to your account in order to get 2FA. Check https://support.gaijin.net/hc/en-us/articles/203623622-How-to-set-up-the-Two-Step-Authorization-Google-Authenticator
