Chengdu J-10, History, Performance & Discussion

2003, this was from SDF post in 2008

Any thoughts on the J-10C’s RWR? I haven’t been able to locate any antennas for the KJ8602A. Drawing a parallel with the Rafale, I suspect its RWR antennas might be positioned here. Therefore, the J-10C should have 360-degree RWR coverage in the vertical plane.

As a eurofighter main, I have to say, the J10C is an absolutely beautiful aircraft.

Is there a specific reason behind the J-10C getting the Targo II HMD?

I thought it was exclusive to the Kfir C.10 Block 60, unless it’s a placeholder for its actual HMD.

There’s very little to no info about the HUD on the J-10C so its pretty much just gaijin laziness

HMD-1 should be what the J-10C uses

Oh so it’s another of those cases where evidence is hard to acquire, definitely relatable, I went crazy once trying to find information on the DASH HMD for Israel.

I hope some further evidence can be found soon, though it’s likely most of the material is in chinese.

it wont

it is already hard finding general info about chinese equipment

much more so for specifics

it’s been nearly a week so i think it’s ggs for the J-10C, F-15C GE case pretty much

and then they Say gaijin bends it’s ass for china
