China isn’t gonna sell IRIAF WS10s. Likely this might be second hand from another country, or this may just be a rumour and will stop there. Also no reason to take Chinese engines over Russian ones since Russia doesn’t quite care about certain sanctions.
they both don’t recognize those sanctions and china has better logistics too.
But Iran already bought Russian air frames
So why would they want Chinese engines when they already have the logistics set up for Russian ones
maybe russian flanker for long range and chinese J-10 for short range is in mind.

as for WS-10, I only know a rumor from close source about Turky trying to get it, an alternate plan for unable to get US F-110 for Khan
there are too many untreatable rumor about Iran getting something from China, many are just imagination of article writers.
after all, what can IRAF do with WS-10? put them in their F-14/F-4 that is decades old? They need new plane, some engines won’t help anything.

the plane’s frame is almost near disintegrated after decades, and accessory will also go wrong, it will crash in anytime.
like the recent crashed 56 years old Turkish C-130, disintegrated in air, IRAF Tomcat is not any younger than that
