J-10C uses a AESA Radar not J-10B.
Any idea of specifications of J10B radar other than it being PESA? Like code name (e.g.1492) and capabilities.

Unkown. The early J-10 were also upgraded to the J-10A standard When the standard type J-10A began production.
If you are referring to the J-10(not A) produced from 1998~2003. Due to the fact that the PL-12 has not yet started mass production, even if there are internal hardpoint, it maybe only carry the PL-8s

I really can’t find the designation for the PESA radar. One source said it uses the KLJ-10 but that’s AESA which I believe is used on the J-10C so probably mixed them up
Most I saw that said anything about the 10B would be “unknown PESA radar designation” or just go straight saying it had an AESA radar. The 10B is somewhat of a confusing variant
I will make a very bold guess, could it be something like the PERO N001? Like the one with PESA antenna but can be fitted to an N001 with minor modifications. This would be like 1473 with PESA antenna, I made this since it took 8 years between J10 A and J10 B entering service, I think they probably would have met major difficulties with balancing PESA radar and development of radar itself as with all Chinese fighters the radar is finished after first flight. I mean China has just gone through 1493 in 2004 so it is unlikely that they had a solution so fast to PESA, and therefor this was the solution.
This is all complete guess and there is no source behind it.

The j8f has the full 20km range, he meant the annoying glowing circle thing that blocks your view.

Gaijin directly copies HUD from J-8F, it’s interesting that the cockpit of J-8F is also incorrect.
They referred to the cockpit of Export F-8T to made J-8F cockpit.
Actually, J-8F has two MFDs instead of MFD+CDD

Gaijin usually only uses one cockpit model for one aircraft family.

The rwr of J-8II and J-8PP are completely identical, and can only indicate warning of specific directions

China planed to jump over pesa radar and directly to aesa radar, that time, pesa is already not a problem. Then, it’s said that the yield rate of aesa unit is not good, causing extra cost, so they went back to pesa as interim measures. but only years later, problem solved, so not much J-10B was produced
Is there a designation you can find for what the PESA radar is by name of service or is it just a modified Type 1473 radar with modified PESA antennas keeping the same designation for whatever reason?
I can tell you that it is a X-band radar. Not sure about the designation.
