Photodetectors to track HMS

It has the same hms system as the jh7a so it’s impossible to tell what gaijin will do.

I was wondering why JH-7 has no hmd, no one talked about this in forum, and no issue. Any information or pics, maybe a issue can be submitted.

Pretty sure it was submitted when it was on the dev server

can’t find it

I guess that’s it. Honestly I just expect people to bug report these things.

I think a better one can be made, this is too simple and blurry, and Mr.TrickZZter.

actually on further inspection the whole cockpit is just wrong

looks like everything right below the sight is wrong entirely, especially that little box thing in the sight thats a rounded stick in the game. not sure the one pictured here has hms. if you wanna bug report it you can but i find the whole system terrifying.

heres a j10a’s cockpit, it looks like the sight is the same

Probably the HMD would look the same as on the J-11, J-8F etc. no special HMD for China. Not like the 15C

im fairly certain the j10a and jh7a use the same hms. dont remember where i read that though. though it might be russian.

Yeah. Not sure for the JH-7 but I’m pretty sure the J-10B will be the plane with the Chinese made and developed HMD then a Soviet leftover.

Not to mention, we should have gotten the J-10A and PL-8B when the F-16C & SMT came out and have the J-10B come out now…

j10b has an aesa radar so it wouldnt come for a while, but i do agree that the j10 a should have come a while ago, or at least the j10(without the a)
also, gaijin when

J-10B uses pesa, actually. and the so called j-10 is same as J-10a, just pre production version, mostly same thing, but PL-12 isn’t ready that time so only pl-11

i thought the j10 went straight from mechanical to aesa? can you show me something on that? also as far as i can tell the j10 pre production one could only carry 4 missiles, two of them being pl11’s, so it would be a lot worse than the j10a with its 8 missiles. it also wasnt shaped right for the engine so it would have a lower top speed.

4 pl-11, the inner pylon could also carry, though not often.
J-10B’s radar, the row of antennas in the middle show it’s a pesa.

i swear chinese cameras are fucking horrible. did the early j10’s even have inner pylons?

the one usually with fuel tank. you can find image in early posy here

the army likes keep everything secret, this kind of pic is cutted from a large one, in corner and blurry, so they foeget to erase the detail

Most of these pictures are just screenshots of videos.

J-10C uses a AESA Radar not J-10B.

Any idea of specifications of J10B radar other than it being PESA? Like code name (e.g.1492) and capabilities.
