From some semi-official sources, it said SD-10>AIM-120A, SD-10A>AIM-120C, PL-12=SD-10A, TC-2=PL-12, TC-2<AIM-120C. Interesting.
If J-10A not coming in next update I fear it will be DOA. I predict we may get early 4.5 gen fighter at end of this year.
And add PL-17 for the ultimate punch
Pretty sure the sd-10 is just the export pl-12, the new missile here is the tc-2.
in fact, sd-10 is very early version, the pl-12 in game is close to it, except having pl-12’s weight, and sd-10a is close to PL-12 in service
but in gaijin’s mind, sd-10 = pl-12, sd-10a = pl-12a, which is infact some electronic devices and software improvement

I believe Pakistani JF-17s are capable of firing R-Darter as well, so we may very well indeed having 5 out 6 unique ARH missile (except AAM-4) in one Chinese tree.
At this point, I no longer care what Gaijin call the missile, be it SD-10A or PL-12A or PL-12 (late), as long as there is a new Fox-3 missile for future Chinese planes after current PL-12 (I don’t think we will see PL-15 for a long time, if at all)
I might want new fighter aircraft 12.7 ~ 13.0 maybe FTC-2000G or Chengdu J-10A or Shenyang J-11B with unique chinese avionics, radar and armament for this year

I double checked in game stat cards, as well as datamined stats, yeah at least right now they are exactly the same.
I mean, in this way, they would add a better pl-12a, which has a better dv like r-27er, as J-10 don’t has as much missile hard point as others, it would be fair
They should be (irl and ingame), considering that they look almost the exact same. I’ve heard people say the opposite, but no sources were provided, aside from a forum saying they allegedly had a difference of datalink and seeker, but that can also just be because different parts are available. Take this with a grain of salt though.

However, it is difficult for the growth rate of PL12 in the game to reach the growth rate of Mach 3, and when I launch at Mach 1.4 at 10,000 meters, the maximum speed of PL12 can only reach Mach 3.8
Does anyone have any non-photoshopped images of the j10 carrying more than 6 missiles? Cause people claim it can belly mount missiles but I can’t find any pictures of it with belly mounted missiles.
