Gameplaywise there wouldn´t be any difference between them except the skin. Gaijin can add the J-10A with an J-10AH skin for GE or XYZ number of kills as usual.
Unless we talk about the late service J-10AH, this one has AESA, PL-15s and PL-10s.

Its unknown to me which was used at what time or which sub-variant, both engines however are identical, the Series 3 makes the biggest difference, but is being replaced my domestic WS-10B (-> results in lower top speed but higher thrust).
One characteristic of the J-10AH is that it can carry the PL-10, but considering the game balance, the PL-10 should only be used in conjunction with the PL-15. Other special features may be the ability that using anti-ship missiles(I don’t know if the Air Force version can use them), and perhaps it can use some ground attack variant of anti-ship missiles (such as the CM-802AKG used on JF-17).

The J-10AH’s Air-To-Surface weapon might be very different with Air Force version, Air Force version usually use KD-88, but J-10AH might use C-701, CM-802AKG and so on.

J-10 “1001” or J-10 early without targeting pod & guided Air-to-Ground armament ?
Yeah, it has targeting pod and KD-88 AGM, but i don’t know much about the “1001”, it is a protoype.
You guess J-10S or J-10 “1001” maybe 1st event vehicle at rank 8 for china ?
J-10S is a good choice, and it also possible that be the early prototype of FC-1 which did not use DSI.
That mean Chengdu FC-1 that’s prototype of JF-17 Block 1 maybe event vehicle rank 8 ?
And J-10 early might be tech tree or event ?

J-10A can carry 4x PL-12 and 2x PL-8 for certain, it is questionable whether it could also carry some on the intake mounted hardpoints. Surely, it has never done so in service. This is the most we may see officially.

That picture isn´t real either, but as I told @不是很能抗压 already, 2x PL-8 / PL-10 and 4x PL-12 is 100% possible.
However, one or two prototypes could use two addtional PL-12s on the wing fuel tank pylons, as well as CFTs but afaik neither has been carried over to production airframes.
Those CFTs are also so obviously photoshopped on there. Idk what it is with this aircraft and all the photoshop but it’s kind of annoying. Even the pod under the nose looks photoshopped.

Possibe a PS as well, but I have seen TGPs and bomb mounts like this quite often.
J-10CE suggestion in progress (though it can take a while, as I am working on quite a few more Japanese suggestions as well)
