block 3 have forward facing maws sensor on the intakes so maybe
JF-17 is getting its MAWS in the coming update. However it seems Gaijin has given it the wrong name (SE-2) when irl its real name is probably RKW-2200E

wait it does? I thought there were no update to JF-17 anymore
Gzabis datamines
Se2 same maws found on j7bgi and j8f right? Irl
yes thats the one.
although the name SE-2 is wrong in the case of the JF-17. imo the jeff has the RKW-2200E going by the shape of the MAWS sensors
anyway, after playing it today, i am pleased to report that the MAWS really does help. in some ways its a good thing its only rear facing since an all aspect MAWS would make you run out of CMs very quick.
that problem is fixed on the block 3 though. all aspect MAWS + extra CMs
Do yk the stats for the real maws?
i dont sadly. im looking into it
The range it makes you die to the good kind of IRCCM (shrinking FOV), but its better then nothing
yes the overall Range should be around 3-5000 if were taking arbitrary values since i suspect thats what it is for most other MAWS as well
meanwhile, see this:

Wait so it actually only had Rear MAW? If so, why J-11B also don’t receive it?
J-11B has maws, also only rear but modeled as 360 °
for JF-17, irl it only has rear so that’s it
Yeah but in game it should also like JF-17 since the MAW only on the rear side.
classic Gaijin C&P code
This image is actually of the KLJ-7 (Non-AESA)
the KLJ7-A is on the JF-17C tranche 3 and has 3 variants. tbh i myself dont know which one was selected but only 2 out of the three are possible
-
Static KLJ-7A

-
Dynamic KLJ-7A with mechanical repositioner

I beleive number 2 might have upto 90 degrees scan limits on either side OBS.
here are the radar options sources/brochures that were trialled:
EDIT: #3 has been removed. it was not a KLJ-7A variant nor the competitor LKF601E
not side, but all
it’s like EFT’s radar, tilt on a rotating base. if it’s 30 degree tilt, then it’s 100 degree
@WreckingAres283
can this be used for a report (for missiles being mountable on the inner pylons)?

(provided that this is an official graphic)
in tandem with these
we already know AGMs/AShMs can be fired from that pylon

Additionally, there are images of the JF-17 having a different CM dispenser with more slots

this could bring the total number of CMs upto 18+18 on top and 18+18 on bottom (as compared to 14+14 on bottom). On Block 1 (in game version) this would mean a total of 72 CMs. On block 3 (i hope its added) it would mean a total of 18+18+20+20 on top and 18+18 on bottom (as compared to 14+14 on bottom). This results in a total of 112 CMs for Block 3.
rd-93ma has 9000 kgf thrust not 9300
