Is the maws on the jf17 all aspect?
It should be rear aspect like J-11B, I only found the MAW from the back not front.

For block one that makes sense
If block 3 uses s740 then it would be all aspect
still depends on how you install it

True, I was just going off the brochure for it but if they only install like 2 of 4 sensors or something that makes sense
block 3 have forward facing maws sensor on the intakes so maybe
JF-17 is getting its MAWS in the coming update. However it seems Gaijin has given it the wrong name (SE-2) when irl its real name is probably RKW-2200E

yes thats the one.
although the name SE-2 is wrong in the case of the JF-17. imo the jeff has the RKW-2200E going by the shape of the MAWS sensors
anyway, after playing it today, i am pleased to report that the MAWS really does help. in some ways its a good thing its only rear facing since an all aspect MAWS would make you run out of CMs very quick.
that problem is fixed on the block 3 though. all aspect MAWS + extra CMs

The range it makes you die to the good kind of IRCCM (shrinking FOV), but its better then nothing
