You cant spam kh38 anymore, all new sams destroy those planes missles easily. All those f16s,f15s, EF2000s and so on has those similar AGMs also and pansir cant do shit against low flying planes, I dont see you crying about it. Those new sams does not require any skill just afk and press 1 button to destroy anything in air, great gameplay.

Unless enemy team has King Tiger, or Pz.IV/70, or jadgtiger, or Elephant/Ferdinand, or Ho-ri, or yk any other vehicle that can pen Jumbo wherever it wants whilst being unpennable by the Jumbo.
GBR should be centered around ground combat, not aircraft. If you want to play with aircraft, play ABR. If you want realism, play simulation.
Also: I have pansir, slm, F15E, F16C, EF2000. I hope you have really played the top BR.

I am sorry but skill issue. You don’t have to be able to kill every single enemy. As your ilk love to say you have teammates that can kill them. Or you can reliably kill them from the side.

We all get gaijined from time to time. I have had times when a M-51 ate 3 rounds in a row to the front of the hull from a KT so I know the feeling. But we know this is a perfectly viable strategy.
I’d use the Thai Gripen for CAS, but since it was added with the F-16A OCU, it was basically DOA for CAS. F-16A can use 4 missiles, 6x Mavericks and 2x GBUs. The most the Gripen can carry is 4x Mavericks. I do enjoy using it for CAP though, as it is far superior in a pure CAP role.

Admittedly my US lineup looks like this. The F6F is soon to be replaced with an AM-1. Only reason its there is because I suck at placing smaller bombs so I kinda use the 2000lb as a crutch. And the AM-1 comes with three crutch bombs to my delight XD
Back on topic, overall these SP changes do not actually affect me since I never bring more than one aircraft per lineup unless I am playing USSR where I have the Yak-9K and Yak-3 respectively.
I would almost suggest using the F8F. Not as big of a bombload but it works. You also can kill enemy planes after that quite effectively

I agree. Until I’m the world’s best WT player and fire every shot perfectly, I’ll continue using CAS to kill tanks that me and my team can’t.
When a strategy is so inconsistent that over half of all barrels shots don’t even deal damage, then that’s not a viable strategy.
I’ll refrain from linking this to your older SPAA arguments.
Clearly if you have only a 50% success rate you just don’t know how to destroy barrels. I would say my rate is about 80%, sure you get some weird non damgaing shots or a bounce but mostly I can take em out reliably
I was considering it then the changes to the F8F came around and I decided not to. I like being an effective element to the team in terms of both helping flanks that are struggling and removing cancer from the sky. And I am used to using the Wyvern as a CAS plane so if the AM-1 is as floaty as the Wyvern is, won’t be a problem ngl. But I might just throw in the F8F for the CAP capabilities.
Yep, for Japan with that, it makes sense. For Britain where its SAL Hellfires on the Typhoon or AGM-65s on the Harrier. SAAF Gripen C for CAS for Britain is still probably the best we have. Italy is in a similar boat

You mean the bomb drop changes? They change pretty much bothing about the way it plays since you ahd to drop both 1000lb bombs at the same time anyway or you would crash
