I wouldn’t say the same. One of the most pleasurable moments is that classic moment when someone comments “maus” in the chat. It’s the equivalent of when they catch a thief in Latin America.
It’s played by only vets, it’s a niche tank, it’s not played much(I don’t know with the W/L of it is but it’s probably not great) and people will literally drive into its fun because “OMG MAUS”
Like, doesn’t the T95 and T28 also have a high KD?
It’s far from a niche tank, it regularly gets 300k+ games per month. Even when it comes back and has more than 1m games (November 2025), it still holds it’s really, really high K/D.
Both of those have substantially lower play count and K/D as well.
if you look at november/december stats you get non vet player stats flooding in. (maus is unlockable around then) Its very strong even with crap anniversary noob players (and all of the vets sitting at 8.3 to sealclub them)

Love how it matters when they need to delay decompression and deny 0.7 br ranges. “Oh no, it will take couple more seconds in queue”. Meanwhile escalation mode rotting with 5, 10 and even 20 min queue time and all we hear about this is silence.

Also, yeah this tank doesn’t really win matches. It just gets 2 kills before being bombed
