There is plenty of evidence showing that the Challenger does not have a turret basket.
The Challenger never had a turret basket; there is substantial evidence to support this.
If they add a turret basket, nobody will want to play Britain anymore. The British tanks are already weak enough. You shouldn’t sacrifice gameplay just for the sake of historical accuracy. Once your turret crew gets knocked out and you can’t move, it’s really frustrating to play.

There is no turret basket for Challenger 2s in-game, & I doubt Gaijin would make that mistake.

Has been added as of this major update. Its on the dev server.
Its not as extensive as the Abrams, but still does exist
Gaijin is just making stuff up to nerf the weakest top teir nation in the entire game. Absolutely crazy

That’s a rotating floor, not a basket…
Whether there’s a cable connecting it to the turret drive for communications & synchronization, I’d love to find out; but no evidence against on-hand.

Theres literally a pillar on the turret there to attach to the rotating floor
Its the 21st century the turret crew dont just shuffle around as the turret turns
Whether or not damage to the turret floor would actually hamper rotation of the turret is another problem entirely

They are always clutching at straws to nerf this thing bruh. How about instead of modelling a non existent turret basket, you model an actual gun mantlet.

The Challenger 2 doesn’t have a turret basket irl, it uses bespoke ball bearings and there is so much information out there; you can google the fact anywhere and it all says the same
but I don’t think the devs really like to listen to all the solid evidence as seen when one of my friends submitted an official disclosed non-sensitive technical specifications of a missile from the manufacturers, and they said that it wasn’t a credible source, like hello???

Please support us. They’re constantly pushing the community’s limits. If they can nerf an already weak British vehicle like this, there’s nothing they won’t do. If we accept it this time, they’ll just keep making changes to other vehicles that players care about.
Hope they don’t pull any of these craps on merkavas
