The fact though they added the Tech Demonstrator instead of the prototype that had things like Armour, Spall liners, ERA, and LWR shows they wanted to add the weakest possible version of the CR3.
Given it has a 6 second reload and ariete which is overall stronger these days has a 5 second reload as well…

Right, they added a tank significantly weaker than anything else at top tier and is now by far our weakest Rank VIII tank. Definetly needs a BR drop or 5 second reload now for it to be even slightly competitive.

No. They added it cause they had to add something along with the other nation top tier MBTS. (The SEP V2, Leopard 2A7v, T90M) Even for them not adding something to Britain would be too far. They only did it cause they had to and because they hate Britain, and as @Morvran perfectly said, they added the weakest possible one.
Even if thats not true, if they liked it they’d at least try to make it good/ strong/ competitive, let alone it originally sucking then being NERFED? And you’re out here saying they liked it. SMH.
WDYM fix challenger 2s? Their front plates have way better effective thickness then CR1s, turret armor and mantlet is acceptable and quite good, very survivable tank. IK I asked this for CR1 and said I dont see anything but seriously this time whats wrong with CR1?

The main fix for the CR1 is the ammo rack, rest of its fairly decent for the BR, but still annoying to go from 5 second reload to 7.5 second reload after a few rounds and no one else has that nerf.

They add fictional top tier a2g weapons and just ignore the outcry, this stands no chance of being addressed.

This is so much more evidence and meat for claiming anti bias. Theres already a lot and a lot of it cant be disputed/ argued but more is always good. (and sad)

Yeah, no its really not, its why the Main CR2 thread is one of the largest on the forums, but a few of the really dedicated people who spent dozens of hours doing the research have now actually quit the game because they were so fed up with Gaijins handling of it.
Challenger 2 will likely never be “meta” or even really close it. Its too big and slow to compete in the CQB gameplay of GRB. But it could be so much more fun than it is currently. Which is why I really really want things like dozer blades. They do give a little LFP protection, but its more for fun than anything else
Honestly. I think so. And the clearest example can be found on the air tree.
There are 7 Tornado IDS at 11.3/11.7. From very early Tornados like the one in the Italian one at 11.3 all the way to the really late ones like the A200C also found in the italian TT, ASSTA3 found in the German TT or the GR1 in the British TT. 6 of them have the more powerful and capable Mk103 engine. The only IDS in the entire game with the weaker engine is the GR1 in the British TT. Their reasoning is because it creates progression for the GR4 , but not even the actual “early” IDSs in the Italian and German TTs have the Mk101s and that excuse applies to them more than the GR1.
So yes, I do beleive some bias against Britain does exist because every chance they get, they nerf us and even the slightest buff takes months or maybe years of fighting. Heck even stupidly trivial things like the Harriers having a sooty exhaust, still hasnt been fixed after a year since it was reported.

And this is the problem. We can only get it reverted if we all, all brit ground/ players stand together and revolt more or less. (The other nations do it all the time like the abrams getting the mantlet trunion module removed and turret basket half reverted. As I was telling SwingfireOP)

Brother, I’m still salty about the challenger 2 “rework” and the absolute, gob-smacking idocy of their side protection arguments. It was so stupid I cannot even put it into words but essentially, gaijin consider the side NERA protection values on the TES to be taken from looking at the tank straight on and include the backing plate. This makes zero sense. The module is sold for different tanks, the values are from the manufacturer. Why in the name of all thats good and holy would it a) be from the front of the tank it’s mounted on and b) include the backing plate which is vehicle specific?
That’s the kind of crap they’ve been pulling for years.
We had a good ch2 model in dev, and it was suddenly memory-holded and we got the… thing we have now. No explanation or anything.
FYI - The “challenger 3” that we have doesn’t even have the correct damage model. It has the old one. Reported many times and a long time ago but they can’t be arsed to fix it.
Yeah… unfortunately, the last time we made a really really big effort. They nerfed the CR2. So… They really dont like it when people actually start to complain about how things are modeled.
Wont do anything, but just keeping fighting for individual fixes here and there. Like @CHARM_3 suggestion for a dozer blade. Or @MatrixRupture beating the living hell out of them to fix the Harriers.
We also have Gunjob on our side too and he quite enjoys annoying the devs for fixes, though he plays more air than ground.
But we’ve had some small victories recently, like the fact the Top tier Battleships are now actually accurate, it only took 2 years of fighting ot get that fixed, but at long last its here now and we also finally got the Typhoon, its in a massively nerfed state, but at least we’ve got it. Other nations have been fighting against us getting it for the past year and things like the Tonka and Harriers are healthier than they have been since introduction.
So its fighting the small battles, 1 fix at a time, bring it up often, make posts on the dev-server forums with each major update, fight for BR drops for htings they wont fix in the BR changes, etc etc.

Gaijin excuse to everything is balance. Maps anew big enough for the challenger to be played how it’s used IRL and the lack of sniping and hill down positions is fair because of the current map sizes, everyone would be sniping.
I think most of the the stuff with the C2 is incorrect, even things like acceleration, traverse and small things like that all the way upto reload time, ammo storage, and ammo physics/models.
I am working on changing it, if I’m right I could have public information in around 1 month but even with it, it will probably get ignored or denied with some excuse of balancing.
Yeah… cant hurt to try, but at this point, I dont see them fixing any major bugs on the CR2s again.
L27A1 post pen spall is terrible. Replenishment of 1st stage ammo is incredibly slow. Somehow spall goes through the ARMOURED charge bins and the charge bags should catch fire, not explode.

I love your enthusiasm and energy. Yeah this is how it is for us. But we can try to stop it. all. There’s so much injustice. The main thing is that -we dont want OP buffs and vehicles. we want justice and fairness. Just like the FV4030/3 britain is NOT ALLOWED to have good vehicles. for no just reason or reason at all. other than just cause they hate us.
