I have a question. For god. WHYYYYYY!??!
I was just looking back at the challenger 3 TD in game. I had done so yesterday, about 24 hours ago. However, it came to my attention that something had changed.
Where did the LWS/LR go? (Laser warning system/ Laser rangefinder) It now only has laser rangefinder. I noticed some other changes too but thats not what this is about. Why on earth would they remove it?? Was this intentional?? Whats their justification for such a crime against a tank thats already weak and vulnerable??

Frankly I see no reason they can justify this. It already performs quite poorly. This is just another cause of their ridiculous unjustified anti britain bias. Its so sad to see them get away with stunts like this.

I’m upset that it turned out this way, but the Challenger 3TD in the game, just like its real-life prototype, doesn’t have an LWS. Just look at the model there are no sensors for it to even function.

Maybe the LWS is somehow integrated into the FCS but there’s no exact data on that. So, logically, a tank without LWS sensors won’t have an LWS.

I think the main problem with the 3TD is that its ammo rack detonates when the mantlet is penetrated, and there’s no way to fix that.

that makes sense. Of course they went the route of adding the prototype/TD version and not the actual thing. IDK why I didnt think of this. because then they dont have to have the 1500 HP, APS, LWS, spall liners, and actual armor. So so stupid. So sad to see a vehicle with such potential stripped down and restricted so much just cause ‘oh we went with the prototype version ha ha’. So much anti britain bias.

Yep looks like it, Time to get teh Challener 3TD lowered to 11.3, maybe even 11.0

Yeah, Id still choose the Challenger DS over it. Especially if they ever fix the CR1s.

I take a Scimitar into top tier over the CR3 its that bad, and I do better in the scimitar

Exactly. Why do we let them get away with stunts like this? Why do we sit and watch silently? Meanwhile the other nations cry and revolt when their tank is getting a new module/ nerfed in any way, until it gets reverted. (At least mostly) Why don’t we even try to do that?

British ground players. What are we doing? Tell your friends. Tell British ground players. Spread the word. We cannot just stand by and do nothing while they do this. It vexes me that we do nothing.

I was thinking the same thing. But don’t get your hopes up. Itl never happen because ‘oh DM53 and L55 with dual Gen 3 thermals’

Yeah. It’s already lower then all other L55s but I doubt they’ll put it down cause of that and then 3 thermals

Fix the challengers? Is there some sort of glitch or do you mean the weak ahh UFP and breach area?

Main 2 buffs for the Challenger 1

  1. 20+ round first stage ammo rack up from the current 4
  2. Gen 2 Thermals (it has the same thermals as the Challenger 2)

You also ahve the DS missing the extra armour it actually deployed to Op Granby with

The extra armor is useless frankly and a waste of weight. And historically the chally 1s didn’t have the same thermals; they had TOGS 1, chally 2 has TOGS 2

Challenger 1, Challenger 2 and TIALD all use the thermal imager.

Yes TOGS is the thermal imager. They upgraded it to TOGS 2 for the challenger 2

Im still 99% sure they both use the exact same thermal imager.

They did upgraded to TOGS II. But both use TICM II.

The Challenger 3 TD physically lacks the laser warning equipment that’s required.
If the Challenger 3 TD ever had laser warning in-game it was always incorrect.

Also Britain getting the prototype is not anti-Britain.
