Fix the challengers? Is there some sort of glitch or do you mean the weak ahh UFP and breach area?
Main 2 buffs for the Challenger 1
- 20+ round first stage ammo rack up from the current 4
- Gen 2 Thermals (it has the same thermals as the Challenger 2)
You also ahve the DS missing the extra armour it actually deployed to Op Granby with

The extra armor is useless frankly and a waste of weight. And historically the chally 1s didn’t have the same thermals; they had TOGS 1, chally 2 has TOGS 2
Challenger 1, Challenger 2 and TIALD all use the thermal imager.
Yes TOGS is the thermal imager. They upgraded it to TOGS 2 for the challenger 2
They did upgraded to TOGS II. But both use TICM II.

The Challenger 3 TD physically lacks the laser warning equipment that’s required.
If the Challenger 3 TD ever had laser warning in-game it was always incorrect.
Also Britain getting the prototype is not anti-Britain.
The fact though they added the Tech Demonstrator instead of the prototype that had things like Armour, Spall liners, ERA, and LWR shows they wanted to add the weakest possible version of the CR3.
Given it has a 6 second reload and ariete which is overall stronger these days has a 5 second reload as well…
its hard to feel anything but the fact the CR3 was designed to be a bad addition.
Im only using it at the moment to spade it, as soon as that happens, Im going back to use the CR2s

Nothing is added instead of anything else.
It was added cause they like the tank.
Right, they added a tank significantly weaker than anything else at top tier and is now by far our weakest Rank VIII tank. Definetly needs a BR drop or 5 second reload now for it to be even slightly competitive.
And they still wont fix the CR2s

No. They added it cause they had to add something along with the other nation top tier MBTS. (The SEP V2, Leopard 2A7v, T90M) Even for them not adding something to Britain would be too far. They only did it cause they had to and because they hate Britain, and as @Morvran perfectly said, they added the weakest possible one.
Even if thats not true, if they liked it they’d at least try to make it good/ strong/ competitive, let alone it originally sucking then being NERFED? And you’re out here saying they liked it. SMH.
WDYM fix challenger 2s? Their front plates have way better effective thickness then CR1s, turret armor and mantlet is acceptable and quite good, very survivable tank. IK I asked this for CR1 and said I dont see anything but seriously this time whats wrong with CR1?
Its a little out of date but:
In short.
- 4 round ready rack should be 20+
- There is a literal hole in the gun breach
- Its missing loads of armour
- Its misisng spall liners
- The ERA should be about 4x more effective than it is currently on things like the TES
- They could all receive dozer blades (more of a gameplay thing than anything else, but would be fun)
- Even L27A1 is technically underperforming currently in terms of pen (not by much, but every little helps) and there be might some issue with post pen damage.
(and failing all that, BR does exist for balance too)
The main fix for the CR1 is the ammo rack, rest of its fairly decent for the BR, but still annoying to go from 5 second reload to 7.5 second reload after a few rounds and no one else has that nerf.

They add fictional top tier a2g weapons and just ignore the outcry, this stands no chance of being addressed.

This is so much more evidence and meat for claiming anti bias. Theres already a lot and a lot of it cant be disputed/ argued but more is always good. (and sad)
Speaking of, what’s your take on anti bias? Do you believe in it? (To any extent) Cause you seem really strong with it.
Yeah, no its really not, its why the Main CR2 thread is one of the largest on the forums, but a few of the really dedicated people who spent dozens of hours doing the research have now actually quit the game because they were so fed up with Gaijins handling of it.
Challenger 2 will likely never be “meta” or even really close it. Its too big and slow to compete in the CQB gameplay of GRB. But it could be so much more fun than it is currently. Which is why I really really want things like dozer blades. They do give a little LFP protection, but its more for fun than anything else
Honestly. I think so. And the clearest example can be found on the air tree.
There are 7 Tornado IDS at 11.3/11.7. From very early Tornados like the one in the Italian one at 11.3 all the way to the really late ones like the A200C also found in the italian TT, ASSTA3 found in the German TT or the GR1 in the British TT. 6 of them have the more powerful and capable Mk103 engine. The only IDS in the entire game with the weaker engine is the GR1 in the British TT. Their reasoning is because it creates progression for the GR4 , but not even the actual “early” IDSs in the Italian and German TTs have the Mk101s and that excuse applies to them more than the GR1.
So yes, I do beleive some bias against Britain does exist because every chance they get, they nerf us and even the slightest buff takes months or maybe years of fighting. Heck even stupidly trivial things like the Harriers having a sooty exhaust, still hasnt been fixed after a year since it was reported.

We know we have a chance because others do. Like when the crybaby american and german communities got the turret basket and mantlets reverted entirely or at LEAST mostly. We can do the same. Hold out hope. Longsuffering.
Not just here for this… major infraction. But for all of Britain ground. We can get justice.
Brit ground should form a anti bias revolution coalition.

This just fuels me more to hear that CR2 is plagued by the snail too.
And this is the problem. We can only get it reverted if we all, all brit ground/ players stand together and revolt more or less. (The other nations do it all the time like the abrams getting the mantlet trunion module removed and turret basket half reverted. As I was telling SwingfireOP)
Thank you. Ive always been shy and scared to discuss anti brit bias at all for fear of getting blasted like the ‘historical BRs’ people. I’ve always felt so alone in my views. But now I see I’m not.
