Something interesting so Trophy APS can now intercept drones with a software update and some minor changes to hardware. Which potentially CR3 could get it ??
I hope only kamikaze drones, as just firing at an enemy drone flying by in-game would be quite annoying. And how it seems the CR3’s Trophy doesn’t have as many charges as the Merkava Mk4.M… I’m a bit concerned
I dont know how it will work for the CR3 eurothrophy.
But the 2a8 comes with autoreloader for the throphy charges

To be fair, u didnt see any cally 3 with throphy yet in the first place.
That one rough mock up at the start of development is nothing to go by.
I forgot that it doesn’t exist yet, and the thing in game is what Gaijin should have called the CLIP, yes the “CR3 TD” and CLIP are not the same but Gaijin should have just added the CLIP as it would have been fine and still would be unique over its brethren

My challengee knowledge doesnt go far enough with differentiazing the prototypes ko clue whatvthw CLIP was
If the radar can detect an fpv drone it should be able to detect a recon drone as well. I don’t see how this is that meaningful to gameplay yet unless you are flying your recon drones at ground level
CLIP was a mid-2000s project to mount the 120mm L/55 to the CR2, the dimensions of the guns are largely the same so it used the same thermal sleeve and MRS as the L30A1. The only photo of stowage I’ve seen looked to hold 6 rounds and there’s not a lot of detailed information or footage afaik.
My worry of is of it just shooting at a recon drone flying close and towards you and wasting a charge
Until we get something like Switchblade I don’t think it be a useful feature and just a pain
Dont think i ever saw a drone flying specialy close enough to a tank to trigger the aps.

I sometimes do it to annoy the hell out of them, later in the game they specifically target me because I did it
it was forced update like when my windows asked if i wanted to change to windows 11 i pressed no and it still did it anyways ( this is not a meme this is a cry for help)
