Yes he is. The existence of a door does not mean anything. They can be there so the shells wont fall out, but blow out panals is th emost probable thing
I agree it does not confirm but it does give us some indication there is a blowout system.

As far as I can tell the turret panel with the walkable area has seams all the way around, that should indicate that it’s not a fixed/integral section of the turret roof
Yes I know the second image is the 130mm turret but it’s the same turret except the gun and fontal section of armour/countermass

The bolts as well as the panel are clearly visisble.

Which is understandable, the vehicle was not adapted for that yet.

Just something I’m going to point out. There is a chance this is going weigh 66 tonnes but with no improved protection. So a 4 tonne weight increase without the added protection meaning an added 4 tonnes for absolutely no reason.
