What made you think so
APS integration is absolutely happening, i suspect it may wait on the development of MIPS.
probably because none of the prototypes have had it yet, and we’re in the later prototype stages now
Just need to wait for it to be put into metal
The picture pf flame of current progress/plans
Whats that again?
But it literally states APS on it
Tired at work.
It does state the new turret will provide active protection (didnt read that psrticular fine print part)
And wasnt quite sure if era counted as passive or active and if dorchester was one
Unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll ever get a fully equipped Challenger 3. The British Army outfits its tanks as needed, and since they aren’t at war with anyone, there’s no reason to display a Chally 3 with extra armor plates, an APS, etc…
Gaijin doesn’t deal in speculation.
Eh… Current events I could actually see the ball rolling on a few things sooner rather than later. Like meteor MLU wasn’t planned till mid 2030s I think, now I suspect it would probably be early 2030s.
Likewise, i guess the CR3s will get things, especially anti-drone kit like aps, as a higher priority than a few years ago
i can see them doing a full fit for the ATDU
Sorry, mate, but you pommies are going to cook well before you get to 2030 lol
They’ve already ordered 60 Trophy MV systems
That panel appears to be quite old based on the information given, such as it still talking about Challenger 2 LEP

Even then, the APS is listed.
“Modular Integrated Protection”
It’s basically a APS management system that can “mix and match” APS sensors and effectors
For example, the BlackJax uses trophy APS sensors but Iron Fist effectors
Its finished it’s trials now And is ready for production and service
They don’t deal in reality either.

WAT
Will we finally get a proper Challenger 3 in the next update?
Almost certainly not
We will get chally 3 with the same armour scheme as chally 2.
Gaijin - “Not enough evidence of armour layout changes.”
“Also DM83 cant pen a T72 in game. if you want it to do that, give us real life testing results of the round against a T72.”
