I wont be touching the Challenger 2, I dont see the point, they might as well just delete it from the game at this point. I might mess about with the Tonka GR4 and that is about it

i mean the only things i was exaclty excited for were the sepv3 and the cr2 mantlet and l27a1 buffs but now all 3 of those things have been ruined (or just denied)

I was looking forward to the Tornado GR1, which is in a much healthier BR relatively speaking to the GR4, and messing about with ALARM…

Nope…

CR2 buffs were looking good, maybe enough for me to consider playing the 11.7 ones…

Nope…

The new aircraft dont interest me. The new ground vehicles dont interest me. The naval additions are barely worth even acknowledging they exist.

We’ll have to wait and see if the new mechanics are any good, but so far are so underbaked that they dont work currently, so I cant even form an opinion yet, but there has been no statement or evidence of any new air maps or improvements to existing maps, so the mechanics are pretty much exclusively for GRB, a gamemode I dont care about anymore.

So basically… this update has added… Nothing.

i was happy at first for ground because we were getting a mantlet buff for the cr2 K5 and BMPT nerfs a good abrams etc etc and now were getting none of that.

Well, gaijin is just making fun of us now, even the pranks of a two-year-old child, they show us the improvements and then take them away. As if those changes broke their Russian meta. We’re in the ridiculous.

Sorry y’all are going through this. While I am salty about the abrams, I found the tusk/sepv2 kits to help me more than I thought when I finally started playing them yesterday.

Seems like the other nato nations really need some TLC on their MBT armor/models. Hopefully gaijin does anything.

It’s been like this for 7 years.

Just put in another decade or two worth of bug reports and we might get a dozer blade and .50 cal.

I’m sorry, but you’ll never see the .50 caliber on Challengers for one simple reason: it’s already available on the Premium Challenger. Unfortunately, you’re out of luck for two reasons: the first is that the community continues to buy that specific premium model, so why would gaijin give the .50 caliber to everyone? No one would buy the Premium model anymore; secondly, the .50 caliber is optional, not factory-issue, and imagine how scandalous developers, bent on favoritism, would decide to give it to everyone. Unfortunately, the only options we have left are a well-defined model, anti-era darts, and probably the blade (although it wouldn’t change anything at all, in fact it would just make them heavier and more visible). We have two identical 11.7 Challengers and one that differs slightly, premium ones that are identical to the tanks in the base tree, and only one branch reaches values above 11. They had reorganized the branches promising new tanks and we still haven’t seen even a hint of them.

I assure, folk are not buying it on account of the 50 cal.

It is wide chally, and people like wide chally if they like chally at all. A 50 cal does not suddenly make challenger good enough to spend the figure they’re asking for. Especially not a chally with the extra weight of the TES package lol

The OES is no larger than the TES and is exactly the same, but with a .50 caliber. Players buy it for two reasons: first, it’s the premium tier 11.7, which allows you to score more points and unlock the tree faster, and second, it offers the benefits of the premium in addition to the .50 caliber. This is obvious. But I assure you, many free-to-play players buy it because with the .50 caliber they can eliminate light tanks. Trust me.
I agree with you that it doesn’t justify the price, but what can you do? We’re at the bottom of the class, and that’s fine with them.

Or just to grind a tech tree. Why waist months of your life grinding the tech tree (and playing stuff you don’t care about) when you can just… buy a top tier vehicle and play what you want?

So what im hearing right now is that, for russia, the publicly available information is enough to keep it where it is with no nerfs, despite there being plenty of evidence to say the latter to its over performance…

However for CR.2 the publicly available information and evidence to prove it can defeat the T-80’s armour with or without K5 is insufficient.

Shocker.

I saw the Challenger 2s breech armour was nerfed right? Has Gaijin provided any reason for it as of yet?
