Gaijin. Are you actually insane. The challenger is one of, if not THE WORST top teir mbt. And for the sake of balance, you decide to pull the existence of a turret basket out of nowhere and slap it on something that does not need it. We are at the point where gaijin is fabricating information to nerf vehicles that are already terrible. Why? As seen below, there is no turret basket. There is no Easter bunny, there is no tooth fairy, and there is no queen of England!

Wait till you see the model and hitbox missalignment in Challenger 3 TD, it has a sharper angle of turret where they just copy and paste hit box from Chally 2 instead and made it the exact same value in the new turret, it’s been accepted almost two years ago lol

Is there any chance this could still be cancelled? To be honest, since it’s only on the test server, if they push this change through, I’m afraid they’ll keep adding even more unrealistic and questionable features in the future.
By the looks of the implementation on the dev server… its not too bad, It could be a LOT worse, and is perhaps a somewhat reasonable interpretation
But the biggest issue is that nothing else really got fixed. Like missing spall liners. Which just leaves the tank even more vulnerable than it was before.
So I wouldnt necessarily have issue with the currently proposed internal damage model overhaul if they actually overhauled the internal damage model to include missing spall liners and addressed the missing armour. Then finish off with actually fixing things like the ready rack and we’d end up leaving this update actually better than before
It can always be binned after or during the dev server. But it can always get worse
if they really wants to sell the pack
