Challenger 2 needs to be brought to developers attention

I just test drove the 2e for the first time today after getting the BK. It’s definitely alot more responsive but it does take a while to get to it’s top speed.

Let’s not forget about the 140mm mounting that the Megatron had for a while.

Well OES is a new TES. It mounted Dorchester 2H, im not sure if it has 2I. 1500 engine possible with transmission and suspension upgrades comming with it, i think it mounted the Cetherine gen 3 TVD. And either old barracuda, the one we have in game, or the new one we see on the megatron.

Like that’s stopped gaijin in the past.

Cough cough kronshtat

never heard. If you’re talking about fighting-vehicles.com I would say it is very unreliable
for armored warfare they created non-existed challenge 2 140 mm for balance reason.

It might’ve been a 130? In don’t remember off the top of my head and then there is armoured warfare to contend with which does muddy search results too.

130 mm is tested on one of Challenger 2 LEP(later Challenger 3) technological demonstrator, not megatron

note the position of gunner and commander sight is same to those of Challenger 3 technological demonstrator.

Ah, noted. There is a lot of misinformation floating about then. But that clears things up.

Again I’d not doubt gaijin to as some paper tank bullshit ether way. Again. The Kronshtat exists much to my displeasure.

In this case F-16AJ is more exist case. Kronshtadt at least laid down and hull built to some level. F-16AJ? Not even single prototype made.

That’s a fair point. The AJ is an egregious example indeed but it is at least based off a very real and exported platform. Still a bad standard to set nonetheless however.

It was mentioned with the challenger 3 upgrade programme that the main gun was futureproof’d by allowing it to be swapped with a 130mm seeing as the mount was the same and if it was deemed necessary. however i think that chally 3 testbed was a showcase of what it could be if the MOD spent abit more money lol that being said the rear of the turret seems relatively unchanged so its posable the autoloader could also be easily installed later too
.

Keep in mind the Rh 130 still hasn’t got proper ammunition for it, so even if they do spend money on it - there wouldn’t be any results till at least 2030, if not later.

Currently Rheinmetall is fully focused on DM83 for the L/55A1, and the DM13 for 130mm as of now, is pretty much just an elongated DM63.

yes basically what happened with the Abrams 105s, then they upgraded to 120mm’s once it was more feasible
