Well thats interesting. Because it directly contradicts whats written. There are at least 8 separate mentions in separate primary sources supporting the SRL4026 requirements for Cr2.
That is literally the requirement for CR2 not what the CR2 is i don’t know why you can’t understand it

Lets play this the other way around. There are absolutly zero sources supporting KE protection requirements for Cr2 other than 500mm. Otherwise, please be kind enough to share them.

In the military world, stuff gets made to comply with certain requirements. There could a case for arguing that requirements for the Chieftain replacement (ie. CR2) were updated just before the start of production, but even as late as July 1992 SRL4026 were the actual requirements so I don´t see a way around it. Again, question is what to do about balance.
Balance
Other than giving giving the base Cr2 the BR of 10.7 (and fixing the performance of L27 and other modern APFSDS vs ERA such as Kontakt 5), 2F and TES to 11.0 and giving to Black Night and 2E 11.3 along the “stretched armor” (600mm KE 900mm CE, although this wouldn´t be supported by sources), I don´t know what else could be done and still all of this would render UK tanks borderline non viable at top tier.
My guy what are you on about irl a CR2 is not worse then a T80

I´m not talking real life but ingame. BTW the reference threat Cr2 was required to defeat was T-80U.

Unchanged at least until months from production. Understandable given the political developments of the time and the lack of emergence of other improved reference threats.
still its only requirement it doesn’t prove how good it actually is so it shouldn’t be nerfed to it

Wanting for tanks to be modeled as realistically as possible will mean that some at certain areas will get buffs and others, nerfs, as more solid information becomes public. If I wanted to play a fantasy tank game, I wouldn´t be here.
