I´m assuming 500mm should be the minimum effectiveness within the 20º arc. However, going by how armor is modeled ingame currently, at 0º its effectiveness doesn´t improve a lot.

We know what the source says, that within 20 degrees the front turret provides 500mm of protection against kinetic threats so that makes it a minimum value. At angles were the armor gets thicker at LOS, protection will be a little better.

The question is what to do about balance.
That minimum value could be the mantlet for all we know this is why your silly argument is pointless. We DONT have enough information on what the number specifically specifies.

We have a clear layout yes what we don’t know is what are the thickness and materials used and by mantlet I mean the whole array not just the wedge on the front. I’m on about everything going to the gun breach…so keep going 😂

SRL4026 was valid at least until July 1992. Less than a year before the start of serial production.
I don´t know him, got it from somewhere else.
And as we know from Flame that SRL4026 wasn’t the challenger 2.
