Challenger 2 needs to be brought to developers attention

Well giving the british an extreme rate of fire like 4 seconds for the small ready rack would make them scary bc their armor definitely isnt there, OR their mobility. Atleast until they fix them

If the Type 10 has a 4 second reload despite being three times as better then we should too.

28 rounds first ready rack due to all the penetrators at the back of the turret also being fast reach ones. Reload will depend on the turret rotation. When the turret aims in the frontal arc bin at the floor also counts as a fast reach. And if we include lap loading we go even lower

Most of the time only the charge is moved, as all penetrators at the back of the turret are also fast reach. Also the same thing is in the Cr1. It too should have bigger ready rack

I’ve fixed the lack of MG’s.

That looks 13.0 to me

Here’s a separate document which again puts CHARM 3’s penetration at 700 mm RHAe at 2 km range:

Is this the vickers mk7 your talking about in regards to its KE protection?

Wait says it would stop ATGMs we need this now

It seems like Vickers Mk7 should have simmilar turret armor to Cr1. That would ba a VERY nice buff

do note this will not be a direct read RHa figure people.

even so, it still is a buff. and every buff to the weakest top round is always welcome

Even if all this work results in a 5% buff to the shells pen, then that is something worth working and fighting towards.

I agree, I’ve been searching everywhere for information on the vickers turret projection, it would be nice to survive more than just HEAT attacks tbh

Morvan is talking about L27A1(CHARM3) penetration buff. But Vickers armor is also a thing to fight. I decided to use the Tog event as a push to spade it, but it is crazy to play. Everything is soo expensive, you have no armor, and what pains me the most charges at the back of crew compartment does not have a bin around them, causing any spall to detonate them.

I’m ngl it’s one of my favourite British tanks to play, it’s so nice to have something with mobility and firepower, if and only if it gets an armour rework it’ll be an end of line vehicles worth the extra RP

Kinda unfortunate that the only reason it failed was because the German’s would not export the hull. And even more unfortunate that we couldn’t make our own hull of a similar capability.

The thing was the best tank at numerous trials.

Yeh i did see that it flat out smashed the competition. From my understanding it was lighter than the challenger 1 turret but offered similar protection? So even if the MOD uses the universal turret the chally 1s hull the tanks mobility would have been better due to being lighter overall. How much by i dunno. But from my experience going from the chieftain mk5 to the mk10 the mobility with that extra weight is hit hard.

Challenger hulls were apparently ‘over-engineered’ and this added a lot of weight.

As for the turret i’m not sure how it was managed but vickers made good tanks with some hick-ups. Perhaps because they were willing to use foreign components they were able to select the lightest option.

I don’t mind the chally 1 its actually my favourite tank, unlike the chally 2’s it does feel like a rolling bunker.

It would’ve been nice if they’d invested in the ability to make a good powerpack/hull without German help.
