And so i made
Community Bug Reporting System
@Gunjob mind taking a look at it?
Also as you will most likely see it, will reporting changeable weaponry on the Enforcer as a Bug report get through or do it need to be a suggestion on the forum?

Then its a skill issue on their behalf lol

Dude needs a new title
“Hero of the British Tree”
Like an in-game flair.
While i was watching some old top gear stuff i remembered they once compared a car to a Cr2, so i searched for the video and i got this.
What im coming with it is 5:14. Clarkson states there that Cr2 turret can do a 360 in 9 seconds, that would give 40 deg/s compared to ingame 31 deg/s. So my question is, is it told wrong in the video, is it wrong in game, or it is the “power mode” that we do not have in game on tanks?
Pretty sure the 40 degrees a second was one of the things that was proven not to be true in one of the other Challenger 2 threads
ok thx
well, i also found this
0:40 turret starts rotating, it would do a full turn in around 10s but gunner started braking and stopped before full 360
Videos are not forms of evidence accepted by the developers as they can be subject to manipulation (sped up/down).
So sadly these types of things can’t be used.
Yea, that is sad, but at least in this video you can clearly hear and see that it is not sped up (announcer talking and guy next to it walking, crew and audience also does not look sped up).
Nothing stopping you from just overlaying the sound though
then people around the tank are still not sped up. I understand it will go nowhere.
I had the exact same thought, but did find sourcing stating both speeds and im semi-inclined to trust the 12 seconds more than the 9 second sources. Though it is also possible that 9 seconds is in reference to the turret and body moving together
From owners workshop manual for the CR2 I bought from bonington tank museum.
The bigger issue in my opinion though, is turret rotation being linked to crew rank
I think 12s is the normal turning rate. Im fine with it, but as you can see on the tankfest i posted higher it would probably hit 9s 360 if not starting up and braking. That is probably the combat or power mode as it is called. It allows for the fastes possible turn but wears out components greatly, so it is bearly used.
It is showed good on this video
0:22. You can see the normal speed turn and the power mode on the Leo 2
I can see it being explanied in something like gunner is new and takes him longer time to use the joystick or something, but it is truly a relict of ww2 era
9 seconds to do 270, or 12 seconds to do 360.
30 degrees per second.
In-game: 26.35.
So it is slightly faster.
Fist thing first, it is 31 spaded ace as
Second
In wt things like starting up and braking are not modelled. While you look at the turret you can se it beeing slow at the start for <1s, then it slow down over the engine deck (most likely programmed thing so it does not damage anything) and then braking at the end. And neither of those things are present in WT. If all that was not present it should do a full rotation in 11 or 10s. That is a big difference, between 33 to 36 deg/s, in WT it would be a very big change, as most encounters are CQC, and there time of reaction is crucial. But i knw this will go nowhere. Videos are irrelevant and i doubt anyone in gaijin would look with good eye to those “calculations”.
