Im hearing too much logic and not enough “we believe” for gaijins liking.
Not enough connections to Sweden or Russia for any change to implemented.
and don’t forget that if they find something Russian they could add to the game that most nations dont have something similar too, they’ll add that aswell even though they know other nations cant compete with it.
Pantsir
2s38
Pantsir should never have been added, simply because it’s vastly superior to other SPAA in the game, and there is no way to make it fair to other nations. if they had found a SPAA that was more similar in ability to the current SPAA in the game i would have been fine with it, ie no predictive tracking and 15km range max, but in the same patch they made the missile guidance on all SPAA awful they added the best AA to russia, that is the only one that feels like it has pre patch missile guidance, so much so a monkey could play it.
should also mention that when china got the tor they said russia would get it “soon” aswell. but instead they got the pantsir
Okay so the MOD responded about the CR2 with its armour and gun removed. The image is not cleared for use.
I’ll take this opportunity to remind people distribution and retention of this image is illegal and also against forum rules, you have been forewarned.
Welp, time to perma you then ))
Oh, now you have done it!
Here it is

Ah so, we can go back to believing the Cr2’s mantlet is made of a composite that is 2000mm thick
Another mantlet rework im guessing so it doesn’t reflect the classified photo of its layout?
There are other materials that are fine that can be used and have been in the past. It only pertains to “the image” in question.
Fair enough
Is there any sort of report already in for the challenger TES’s ERA lacking a housing (unlike relikt or k5, with some 20mm HHRA) which results in it being prone to damage or exploding entirely from machinegun fire and spalling along with chain detonation (certain ATGMs can cause 3 or 4 blocks to detonate, practically nullifying an entire side’s protection)?
Similarly, slat armour falls off exceptionally easy (the turret loses ALL of its slat protection to any shot hitting the rear half?), and the composite armour either side of the turret, despite being composite, falls off just like ERA too.
Not sure if its been mentioned, but if we are getting more detailed models, I’d like to see the turret getting a little more detail around the sides and back too… I know the Chally 2 has removable panels that go around it, but I’ve never seen them ACTUALLY removed in pictures before. though there are some pictures of a model made by a company called “Accurate Armour” who have a challenger 2 turret without the additional armour, that you can add on. there seems to be a hatch or something behind one of the sides which made me think that, the hinges and what not on that would surely act as some additional armour in some way, no?

((before anyone asks, the model is now discontinued sadly.))
edit: because this is a model made by a company and not pictures of the official vehicle or documents, I’m assuming it’s nothing classified or illegal.
