It’s a shame the CR3TD lost its 1500 HP engine because at the time of the “TD” 1500HP was planned and the CR3(P) should have had the 1200HP instead.

The CR 3(P) was still going to have the 1500hp engine and the TD was just a prettied up CR2 with a few visual differences to show that there was an idea and that the RBSL thing wasn’t just a bullshitting waste of money

doesn’t help that, thanks to the remaining design flaw from CR2 that seemingly was never touched or fixed according to the snail (the breach weak spot), now you have the ability to be one shot if someone shoots you in the breach because it goes straight into the turret stowage ammo behind it causing ammo detonation. So if the only thing that CR2 was good at was hulling down, the CR3(td) cant even do that. You are a gun. A gun with no armour. No speed. No manoeuvrability. No added protection or survivability. Just gun.
You are a british player.
You will recieve nerfs to tanks that arnt good already.

The like 5 games ive suffered the cr3td that has happened in all og them bar one.
Its ludicrous tbh, first ever game with it a t90M shot a 3bm60, so not even the most deadly top tier round
Clean through a train carraige lengthways , through the breach and into the ammo!
I bailed on top tier britain if im honest, the cas is lackluster, the tanks are lackluster.
So why bother.
Have much morw fun with a vt4a1 and wz1001 with a fking J8B and Q5L for CAP/CAS
Britain top tier is all just boats. The Challenger 2 is a boat with no armour and no speed. The 3(td) is a boat with no armour and no speed. The Tornado GR.1 and GR.4 are boats with wings that barely turn and everything outpaces them. The only good thing we have left is the Eurofighter; which in an ideal world shouldn’t even be in a discussion about British top tier ground battles, but here we are having to talk about it, cause its the only good thing we have in G-RB and if you are a good CAS player, it might redeem the team a little bit; but a solid 70% of players play ground because they like ground vehicles, not because they want to play a ground vehicle to get into a jet for the rest of the game.
Then just to top it all off, British players are punished because other nations wont adapt their “hold W” playstyles, and as a result now the Fox is up to 8.0 AFTER the Rarden gun got nerfed.
If you dont play aircraft in GRB, you are punished playing top tier Britain pretty much. Because thats the only redeeming feature. I dont like playing aircraft, they are outside of my scope of interest, but im forced to learn how to use them because its the only way to be competitive, unlike most other nations in the game which have competitive tanks AND aircraft…

So it did get nerfed. I thought the turret rotation speed decreased and br increased

the rounds were nerfed, unsure about the turret rotation speed, but I know for certain the rounds were nerfed (and in doing so, ALL rarden gun vehicles were nerfed because of it, including warrior) and the BR went up, because players couldn’t handle it doing the only thing it could do, which is shoot people in the sides, saying things like “I’m sorry I didn’t see that barrel sticking out of those bushes” as if its difficult to see if you really look and have observational skills.

The majority of people have German main vision but people complain the XM800 isn’t broken at almost all BRs but the Raden doesn’t have realistic rounds, fire rate and the vehicles it’s mounted on no longer have the rotation speed. When the Scimitar was added in the Dev server, it had thermals which made it slightly unique vs the Fox but now the Fox is too high, the Scimitar is still in modelled incorrectly and I’m too broke to sue the pants of Gaijin

Xm800t can kill and amx30 Super frontally.
It fires that many rounds off it almost always hits a borked pixel and gets through
The sound also sounds like the B11 Strikeforce, where it has the 12000rpm sounding cannon but is just slightly slower firing than the sound would have you believe
Closest thing to the Falcon at that BR bracket a monster and being a US vehicle you see 4-5 on a team
I mean even in support role they are weak. It is not about the armour or the reload speed. It is more like the speed. You can’t really rotate around the map fast enough to support your teammates. Assuming they didn’t rush in and die that is

Perhaps, but i’ve found half decent success sitting as part of the rear guard. Providing sniper support and cover the widest flanks or protecting a cap point whilst the rest of my team push. Quite often results in me being one of the few left alive.
I dont really have issue with the slower pace though of the CR2, even in the fastest MBT I would likely play similarly. Im not one for FPS games and in gamemodes like ASB, I often stick with BVR combat over WVR gunfighting even in aircraft like the Typhoon.
I just wish we had a little… something extra. Its why I really want us to get Dozer Blades. They’d be a really fun addition and give us a minor buff.

they were talking of applying the pen formula other rounds use, less point blank pen but also less drop off with range
pretty sure gaijin did a post about how they reduced post penetration damage of the rarden guns specifically, making them spawl less, which nerfed everything with a rarden. This happened pre scimitar iirc
