Eh… I’ve never overly enjoyed that range,m though half the vehicels ive yet to unlock. I’ll probably stick with Air and naval for another few months instead. DW and Stormer AD are interesting to me, but no motivation to even try and unlock them at the moment.
Just a shame the rest of the line-up is a bit… Meh
Cheiftain Mk10
Vickers Mk11 (need to research, but I’ve not really heard a good thing or a bad thing about it)
Striker (eh, can be okay)
Warrior (Really quite hate it at the moment to be honest)
Falcon/Marksman/Za-35 (all a bit meh, especially uptiered)
CBA to grind the SA line for the MTTD
Just not a lot there. CAS doesnt get any better. Hunter F1, Scimitar or Buc S1. Usable but not my favourite aircraft to use. Helis, Dont have it But Wessex i’ve heard is kinda bad.
On big maps BN is still competitive, due to the LWR excellent optics and APS giving a debuff to penetration on incoming projectiles.
And 2E is still good MBT for for dynamic fights
Perhaps, still wouldnt consider either an equal to the likes of the 2A7V. And the fact teh CR3TD is basically being deleted from the game at this point also sucks. Officially the worst top tier tank in game right now
Yes, they are rare, but for more than 2000 fights on Black Night and watching server replays of APS work on kinetics, I can say that in long range any leo has no overwhelming advantage against her.
Its still very interesting to play on this MBT in situations where its technological advantages are maximized
cause its not the real challanger 3 tech demo, or tank its just a fabricated mix n mash of the two, hence why its missing half the gizmos it had, yet has half the stuff from the 3
I am currently finishing my grind in that area of the British tree.
Vickers Mk11 is fun. It’s also dirty if you shrubbery the front because of how quiet it is, and then hide in ditch behind a small bush. Almost like you can with Chief, but it also has a scout and needs a little more stealth otherwise gets one shot. It is also a good support vehicle if you have tanks and other bait going for an objective. To the point of it is probably the best Command and Control vehicle for a voice chat group to have with so far in the brit tree. It doesn’t get the DM33 rounds that the VFM5 gets though.
Downside… No zoom.
Rooikats are oddly first round survivable which makes them fun to use in a group for pack tactics. However encounter a pack yourself and die.
Currently unlocking the Stormers. But since the VFM5 isn’t getting a boost in BR (and I get to crew it today). Looks like I will need to get the Mk 7. Then continue down the Challenger line.
I want the BK so badly (and the rest of the Challys they look good). It will help me unlock future UK Aussie ground vehicles.
Yes RR Power Systems (which is registered German but owned by RR Holdings which is British) owns MTU but unless the government are very scummy they wouldn’t just claim a German designed engine is British because its parent company is.
its built by a private company. now if its ordered by the german army specificaly like the uk did when they ordered the cr3 thats fine, but strict cooperation may only mean rheimetall hasked questions about some stuff and the gaerman army helped test it. but its still a private company.
so pls drop the fanboyism unless you want every trophy aps tank in the israely tech tree.
It is developed on german request and standards, that is how it is its not fanboyism.
Rheinmetall works closely with german military for those kind of stuff thats a fact
Did not deny that. But the KE 2020 Neo is first and foremost the german ammunition.
