Well thankfully it’s 6 not 7 but the 3TD should have the reload dropped to 5 seconds to be in line with the Abrams and other Chally 2’s

Oh I meant the T-90s but thank goodness I have all the Challengers now. I don’t gotta suffer stock and low level crew Challenger 3TD no more. I wish they gave the Chally 3 DM63 with inert charges which would cause the ammo to not detonate at the very least 80% of the time (for gameplay reasons I guess, but tbh I don’t think 100% would be game breaking).
With how the Challenger 3 already is. The TD isn’t a reasonable late rank tank. Even at 12.0. It could reasonably get a reload buff seeing as there’s more space in the turret than most 120mm MBTs. A buff to the turret armor and fixing of the armor model would do well too. There’s actually things they can do to make it competitive until the actual Challenger 3 comes.

Unfortunately they’ve specifically made it so that the 3TD is 12.0. For some reason it’s in their head that we’re not allowed good vehicles. The the real 2018 TD had a 1500hp engine and Trophy APS but instead they’ve taken the 1200hp figure and the lack of an APS from the actual Challenger 3 (That doesn’t exist yet) while not giving it the Spall Liners and better armour the Challenger 3 actually will get. Granted we don’t know how Epsom is better than Cobham but they could either increase the protection by enough to protect from 3BM42 or 46 or make it lighter.

Yes but all of the LEP’s were going to be on vehicles that received the HAAIP. Would be nice to see a HAAIP as a 2nd 1500hp Chally next to the 2E. Might even get ROSY too.
the two were merged with the CR3 announcement on 7th May 2021, the TD predates that so its perfectly fine for it to retain the 1200hp engine. I’m fairly sure HAAIP was tested on Megatron as well, so even if it was added it’d have middling mobility.
I’m also pretty sure the actual uplift (if there even is one) isn’t known, instead just being speculated about as there’s conflicting information.
