Ehh I bounce shots, it would be fine if a guy took out two ready rack rounds idc abt that. But the blowing up stops gameplay completely. I can avoid hull shots, maybe even breech shots, but the roof shot? Unlikely unless he misses badly.
so update is tomorrow and it looks like the devs are gonna leave it in its unplayable state

You would think that, but the bias shown by the moderators and @Smin1080p_WT is astonishing. Those official documents must be wrong, because they tested the armor of T-80U IN GAME! Their bias is unreal on this, as others have noted, brochures and manufacturer statements can be used to add and tune features for Russian vehicles, while official documents are “wrong” if they would neccitate a nerf to their favourite nation.
Well, considering that the penetration model is a disaster because it surely doesn’t take certain parameters into account, and the armor model is another disaster, it’s completely certain that if they test an ammunition on the armor of another tank, the result will be completely different from the real data.

ok so the update came out and challengers are actually the most worthless mbt now lmao. i got into a game with the TES, Blacknight and 2e and its like night and day. its actually comical how weak the cr2’s just became in one update. they need some sort of big buff cus this gameplay is horrid.

Smin isn’t the cause of this, he’s the face of it and passes on developer responses but doesn’t make the decisions himself, so it’s not fair to blame him.
Reserve your anger for the developers which is where it really belongs.

in what world does the cr2 seem like an ok tank now to gaijin? its slower than the ariete, it has the worst top tier round, the armor is the least competitive. there is nothing good about the cr2, the only thing it had before was decent survivability on penetration now if you get hit you lose the turret basket and engine.
funny part is that i just looked at the 12.0 m1a1, it is literally better than the 2e in every way what on earth are the developers thinking
