The Mk11 just being a Mk10 with Thermal’s isn’t right at all, the Mk11’s were Mk8’s upgraded to Mk10 standards, which them selves were Mk3’s upgraded to Mk5 standards.
This is what i meant by there being so much conflicting information. We need to raid some tank museums to look for ourselves

But i guess they said it like that for the sake of simplicity. You can see the progression in the book from other variants to 9 to 10 to 11.
Editor most likely saw 3 whole pages of variants and screamed in pain.
Even then that doesn’t really make sense, the Thermal imaging was the end point for the Totem Pole Program no matter what mark they were.
Be it 9, 10, 11, or 12.
They ALL got Thermals. Not just the Mk11s.
And even reading up on things, When production was still going on the Mk5’s, ALOT of them were fitted with the LRF and TOG’s out of the factory

Theres a reason why we now use an American-style designation for kit
Dont even play them unless the APDS gets buffed back to where it should be. I had a better time using the Centurion mk10 at 8.7 than the chiefs

I miss when it was semi historical match making. I got myself the japanese tiger 1 and was just going ham on all the germans with my 5.7 lineup. Wacthing the fear in their eyes as they look at me, perfectly angled knowing exactly where to shoot on any tank i come across with the many years of experience using the 75mm against all of them.

I love staring at enemy tanks as I frantically shimmy my crosshair all around their tank while I try to debate where I need to hit them with 22kg of hesh from an FV4005 so it actually does damage.

training with solid shot its like weighted training and any APHE vehicle is easy mode
