New information has been given to the devs internally via Gunjob. its now just a waiting game. It will go one of 3 ways
- It gets accepted and actioned
- the devs make up a new excuse to reject the report
- the devs will accept the report and then nothing will happen.
The most likely option is option 3

3bm42 can still easily go through the top of the mantlet as far as I’ve seen, + addition of a turret basket.
It is furhter up the chat, on how the spot where the two trunions pins which was empty before is noww filled.
That’s the next step BTW, we know for a fact they are gonna add, for some reason a turret basket which is ridiculous. But they may not go for the armour upgrades if it makes the CR2 not swiss cheese.

Somehow…just putting this totally random thought out there. It’s an outlier and probably not got much to commend it.
I think if it were a Russian round with some magical ‘anti-Chobham’ capability - you probably wouldn’t need to do all that much to convince the devs to whack it into the game ASAP.
Call me cynical, but I’m just getting the distinct impression that there’s a bit of favouritism going on here. What’s the other word for it…bias?

since about january man it’s been pretty damn convient every addition has been severely lopsided.
LMURs, Terminators, SVSM , (lets not forget the naval top tier is stupidly OP as well) Su30 Premium which is massively under BR’d as well as Kh38s that have resided in game for longer than necessary.
As well as this no one seems to talk about the T80U reload buff, it’s a pretty nice change for the MBTs especially at 9.3 - 10.7

Smin just forwarded my explanation of it with tests of dart and how i believe that L27, due to its break away tip, can infact penetrate the T80U assuming L27 can pen the T80U without K5 without its breakaway tip
Simple explanation is that the plates when being launched or away from the apfsds do different things but the only one that can damage the round itself is the co flying plate (one that flies with the apfsds) and likely would snap off the nose
the 2nd layer does not seem to have the co flying plate only counter flying which just deforms it at most but due to the use of DU and length of the round it likely is not affected too much
But the co flying plate is why usually penetrators like DM33 would fail as they would be broken at the nose and so would not have the ability to penetrate the rest of the hull

Against 3BM40 which none of the top tier tanks use and even the 11.7 premiums are not using Mango.
So while yes it’s good the subsequent addition of the floating floor and no mobility improvements do not really change the game.
