Tactical Engagement Simulation Systems (TESS) is how similar systems are are referred to in general terms nowadays though.
Ours is made by Saab. It’s been renamed from DFWES to Instrumented Live Training – Direct (ILT-D) now though, because we’re also getting a parallel system for area fires (artillery, minefields etc.); inventively named Instrumented Live Training – Area (ILT-A)
